“Visited here yesterday for the first time. Let’s just put it this way: They are MUCH friendlier than Butterflies and Bullfrogs. I felt much more welcome and comfortable there. I’m looking forward to consigning with them!”
“I have purchased beautiful designer clothes and purses at JTPosh. I’ve also consigned. They maintain high standards for what they accept to resale. Items are like new or new!”
“Fantastic shop for high quality, mid-century furniture, dec arts and fine art—and super knowledgable and friendly proprietors! Katrina and Stan are wonderful—go shop their store!!”
“Amazing spot for excellent thrift outdoor gear/bikes/shoes/kids stuff too! Impeccable customer service and knowledgable staff!I will never go to REI again! Update: The staff is hands down the G.O.A.T. They are called the GOAT for this reason!!! I can’t thank all of you enough!! We will be back— many times and you are my forever spot for getting ready for all of our adventures!! ⭐️???”
“The best store with the nicest owner! Make sure to make a few rounds so you don't miss anything, you are just about guaranteed to find something to take home with you”
“If you're looking for awesome clothes for an event or festival (or just wearing around) this is THE PLACE! They will even find something for you if you give them a picture of what you're looking for and they don't currently have it at the store!”
“Very interesting place! Saw online that they have real Native American items, so wanted to check it out. Owner told me he is 40% Cherokee. Bigger than it looks from the outside. Enjoyed looking around.”
“Really enjoyed walking around this antique store. Some really great pieces here. Some really expensive things and some very reasonable prices. If you're in the area, stop in and take a stroll.”
“Truth be told, the name almost kept me from walking in.As I entered, I felt like I was taking a trip back in time!I introduced myself to the young woman that was working. I was asking questions and doing my Google contributor thing and we discussed how vintage items are often purchased for movies or TV shows.Do not forget to look up! Even the ceiling has vintage stuff hanging, like your father’s old shed behind the house. So much fun!I am well know for my honest reviews, I gave it four out of five stars mainly because I price compared some of the vintage, and I think they could do a little better on some of their prices. Nonetheless…This might be the kind of place you could find that vintage treasure you are searching for.If you are headed for lunch or dinner in NODA. Stop by, The Rat’s Nest is worth a look !”
“Kevin has a great eye and is very good at timing up his sales to move inventory to make room for new (used) items. This is a hidden gem if you like value!!! I have been saving money on high quality used men’s clothes for a long time. Keep up the good work Kevin - I love Jilson’s!!!”
“I have been visiting this store for about two and a half years now and so has one of my other family members. Most times we usually find a few items to purchase. The store is packed with a lot of items to choose from. You can open an account and bring items in to put on consignment which my family member has done.”
“I shop at consignment shops on a regular basis, and Divine Consign is one of the best in the Charlotte area. The staff are always helpful and courteous, and they are always looking out for my best interest when I leave items to consign with them. There is something for everybody at this fun and beautiful shop; their prices are very reasonable and their items are tastefully merchandised. I promise you will not be disappointed.”
“I visited Old News Vintage in NoDa after checking out Found, and while I didn’t end up purchasing anything, it was still an interesting experience. The store focuses mainly on streetwear, with plenty of hoodies, jerseys, jackets, and jeans. They also had some unique items like cowboy boots and genuine leather jackets.
However, I found that the pricing was a bit on the higher side for my taste, and I prefer all items on hangers rather than having some in large buckets. That said, if you’re into high-quality vintage pieces, you’ll likely appreciate what they have to offer. It just wasn’t quite my style or budget.”
“Every time I come in here, I am greeted friendly , everyone is so helpful and there are the most beautiful items. I love to come in and see all of the new items. If you haven’t discovered this gem, you are missing out !”
“If you are an experienced home educator in the Charlotte-Metro area, then you already know that this is THE best education store and resource, better than a homeschool convention! Get your hands on all the best curriculum, compare different ones right there, save money, and resell... All of the employees are super sweet and extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and you get to help fellow local homeschoolers continue their homeschool journey, whether you are passing on just what they are looking for, or you find and buy from a fellow homeschooler just what you need, giving them some much appreciated extra income--it's a win for everyone! I could spend hours browsing here...They always have what I need, or most of it, so it's a one-stop shop for me that I visit a couple of times a year. However, besides just getting what I need, much like thrifting, I've also found several unexpected treasures on the shelves over the years! I love how organized the store is, and that everything is high quality (they are selective about what they resell), with prices comparable to what you can find online, but with the bonus that you get it same day, you know EXACTLY what you're getting, you're shopping local, and once you start consigning too, you start getting what you need at a fraction of the cost to buy anywhere else. I also LOVE that there is a rewards program now too! Blessings, Homeschool Room! Keep up the amazing work!”
