“This place is money, skip the overpriced box stores and buy used from here. Great selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff. As long as you don’t need the latest and greatest (I know I don’t) you will be able to find what you need at a good price. Game changer for those of us with a bunch of outdoor hobbies that don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for gear that does the same thing as the stuff from 5 years ago”
“If you're looking for awesome clothes for an event or festival (or just wearing around) this is THE PLACE! They will even find something for you if you give them a picture of what you're looking for and they don't currently have it at the store!”
“Very interesting place! Saw online that they have real Native American items, so wanted to check it out. Owner told me he is 40% Cherokee. Bigger than it looks from the outside. Enjoyed looking around.”
“Truth be told, the name almost kept me from walking in.As I entered, I felt like I was taking a trip back in time!I introduced myself to the young woman that was working. I was asking questions and doing my Google contributor thing and we discussed how vintage items are often purchased for movies or TV shows.Do not forget to look up! Even the ceiling has vintage stuff hanging, like your father’s old shed behind the house. So much fun!I am well know for my honest reviews, I gave it four out of five stars mainly because I price compared some of the vintage, and I think they could do a little better on some of their prices. Nonetheless…This might be the kind of place you could find that vintage treasure you are searching for.If you are headed for lunch or dinner in NODA. Stop by, The Rat’s Nest is worth a look !”
“Kevin has a great eye and is very good at timing up his sales to move inventory to make room for new (used) items. This is a hidden gem if you like value!!! I have been saving money on high quality used men’s clothes for a long time. Keep up the good work Kevin - I love Jilson’s!!!”
“They offer a great selection of high-quality furniture at reasonable prices, including both consignment and new pieces. Their inventory is in excellent condition, featuring modern designs as well as some antiques.”
“Really enjoyed walking around this antique store. Some really great pieces here. Some really expensive things and some very reasonable prices. If you're in the area, stop in and take a stroll.”
“Love, love, love this store! Beautifully curated, ever-revolving, and eclectic vintage and new furniture (and more!) for the design-savvy. Always something new to drool over. The super kind owner and staff make the shopping experience even better. 10 stars!”
“I visited Old News Vintage in NoDa after checking out Found, and while I didn’t end up purchasing anything, it was still an interesting experience. The store focuses mainly on streetwear, with plenty of hoodies, jerseys, jackets, and jeans. They also had some unique items like cowboy boots and genuine leather jackets.
However, I found that the pricing was a bit on the higher side for my taste, and I prefer all items on hangers rather than having some in large buckets. That said, if you’re into high-quality vintage pieces, you’ll likely appreciate what they have to offer. It just wasn’t quite my style or budget.”
“I shop at consignment shops on a regular basis, and Divine Consign is one of the best in the Charlotte area. The staff are always helpful and courteous, and they are always looking out for my best interest when I leave items to consign with them. There is something for everybody at this fun and beautiful shop; their prices are very reasonable and their items are tastefully merchandised. I promise you will not be disappointed.”
“Vicky was very nice! He helped me find exactly what I needed and I got to know him as well! Will definitely come back regularly :) I also got some really cute earrings”
“Every time I come in here, I am greeted friendly , everyone is so helpful and there are the most beautiful items. I love to come in and see all of the new items. If you haven’t discovered this gem, you are missing out !”
“Best consignment store in Charlotte, hands down!
Pros: Awesome prices for high-end obscure NYC, LA and European brands, really nice selection, shoe selection is divine, the young girls that work there are nice, if a tad cliquey.
Cons: Getting a consignment appt should NOT be this hard. They often book up for the month and then don't open up their calendar until the 10th of the next month. Also, they only take them M - Th during bankers hours. Err! Not all of us are SAHMs.”
