“This is my favorite shop in Mayodan. In addition to Charlie's Soap, we go there somewhat regularly for the North Carolina peanuts (sold in jars packed by a local church's mens' group) and home knick knacks. They have a nice selection of t-shirts and I recently bought one that just says "kayak" and has a graphic of the state of NC. Very soft, nice burgundy color. They have a lot of seasonal decorations (always very inexpensive) and a lot of little home decor/gift ideas like glasses or blocks with cute sayings, cute pictures frames, etc. It's not a huge selection but good. A lot of their stuff has kind of a rustic, country, cabin-y kind of flair. They also have metal garden art that I think is probably made locally. Hard to describe, the best I can do is to say that they are artistic renderings of small creatures made out of metal rods.”
