Toy Stores near Mint Hill, NC

“honestly I drove by this place every day for the last three years just thinking it was for babies..
My wife went there one day and came home with all types of stuff and said “ honey there’s a lot of stuff that you should come check it out”
I am glad i did…
Me and my brother own Down East auto in Mint Hill… I felt a very similar family owned small business when I went there as well ,great wonderful staff every time I’ve been a great selection not only for children and babies but for adults as well… don’t pass this place by just cause it says trendy tots… these are great people with a great store always respectful and don’t bother you or harass you while you’re shopping… this store right here is what makes America America… The prices are so low. It doesn’t even make sense and everything in the store i’m guessing is hand selected and hand picked because it’s always quality…thank you trendy tots for being such a wonderful store”

“Wonderful local kids’ store in downtown Matthews! Great selection of clothes, shoes, toys, books, and gifts, with fair prices and a very friendly staff. Everything is organized and easy to shop. I always enjoy stopping by and finding something cute for my daughter. Highly recommend!”

“We took a knife making class and couple of weeks ago, at this Woodcraft of Charlotte. This is a woodworking specialty franchise that tools, supplies, books, projects plans, and offers classes. The facility was very clean and well maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and professional. Our classroom was just big enough for 6 students, as it included woodworking machines as well. Overall experience was excellent, and we are already looking for future classes.”

“This store is about an hour drive for us. It’s worth the drive. It’s highly organized and items are visibly clean. I just glanced at the clothes which seemed to be priced a little high. However, I’ve read other reviews that mention
sales, etc. The selection of toys is great. Everything was marked around 1/3 of original price. I got several nice, wooden toys for a great price. I would consider consigning my children’s items here. We’ll be back!”

“By chance, I stopped by this store for the very first time while on my desperate search for batteries. The store is truly impressive with displays of educational toys and materials priced reasonably with a support staff, professional, friendly and accommodating. They even solved my battery issue. I want to spread the word that this store is worth the visit and is my first choice in looking for gifts for my grandchildren.See for yourself, a Matthews treasure.”

“I stopped by here a few weeks ago knowing nothing about comic books and only a little about the comic I had in hand. David was great and incredibly helpful. He shared a lot of helpful information and didn't make me feel like an idiot. If you're in to comics and looking for a good comic shop, check this place out. Good people!”

“Great selection of books, toys, puzzles, Legos, games and more! The cafe has great Starbucks drinks and baked goods. Love the warm cookies and the new horchata! But anything in the cafe and you can get a book they are promoting for just $5.00– what a great idea! 😎”

“I was looking for a Black Series Darth Vader helmet and could not find it at any of the locations within 100 miles. But the system kept showing that the Matthews location had only one left. So I drove 40 minutes only to be told that if it was not on the floor, it meant it was sold. The young man was a bit rude and seemed bothered that I asked questions about the product. So, I left. I forgot about it and resumed my search a couple weeks later. Once again, I was being told Matthews had the helmet. I called the store trying to figure this out. A man by the name of Mike decided to help. He went to the back of the store and searched for what seemed like 25 min. All the while, Im on the line hearing him move boxes and telling me to bear with him. He finally found it! Turns out, it was on 2 day hold since 2022! He set it aside for me and it took me an hour to get there. Mike went above and beyond. Such a nice fellow and I'm happy Gamestop have people like him. Mike is awesome. Thanks Mike!”
