“Walking in to Foster Drugs reminds me of the theme songs from Cheers: "Sometimes you wanna goWhere everybody knows your nameAnd they're always glad you came."The big box stores have 1 or 2 pharmacists doing everything from answering phones, to running the register, to stocking the shelves and cleaning the store. At Foster Drug they often have more employees working than customers in the store. The service is lightning fast, friendly, helpful and accommodating!I've moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC and still stop at Foster Drugs when I'm in town because it's the faster, friendlier pharmacy where they really do try to get to know everyone.I visited the store last week for the first time in a year and all the folks behind the counter greeted me enthusiastically by my first name and asked how I'm enjoying the beach!Forget the big box stores where you wait forever and nobody seems to care.Tired of being just a number and just the next person in line?
