“Went to look for specific book but was not available. Looked at travel books. Although there was a variety of books based on locations, the range of authors' was limited. Friendly staff”
“Main Street hosted an author event with book signing. I had no choice but to bring my toddler. The staff set up the event perfectly from check in at the door until long after clean up. Even when my toddler sat in the middle of a walkway, the staff seemed to go out of their way to make us feel welcomed. What an amazing experience today!”
“Everything merchandise wise with Davidson they probably have it. You will not find textbooks here. Located on the main business drag across from the school. Parking is off street and free. The building appears newer and is an attractive modern design. The whole family was touring Davidson and stopped into browse. We were quickly approached for assistance, My son was looking for a Davidson Swim shirt, my daughter anything really. My daughter found something and my son struggled because nothing with swim. They did have a cap with swim, but he was not interested. He did end finding something. The store is packed with so much merchandise it's hard to imagine not finding something perfect. Checkout was the best part as it was friendly and helpful. The woman had lots of tips for us and was extremely supportive of Davidson. We walked very happy we met the clerk which elevated the review.”
“A really cute bookshop with majority used books, but also a small section of new. The YA and Teen section felt like walking into a Barnes and Noble circa 2010 and it was awesome. Very fun to peruse the shelves and grab some books. The prices on most seemed very reasonable. It’s even better if you live in the area as they offer trade in options that give you credits towards your next purchase. Organized alphabetically by author. The staff member was helpful with questions and suggestions based on books I said I’d previously enjoyed.”
“While I love the place itself, I do have a complaint about the person who handles the calls. A couple days ago I called in to rsvp for an event . The person who handles calls, was so rude , didn’t collect my details properly and felt like she just wanted me to hang up the call and not visit the store at all. I was this close to just forget about the event. Hopefully, the store manager will address this and place someone who is ready to talk with customers without being rude or mean.”
“A bookstore that seems to want kids there! They were having a book club in action which was awesome, and my daughter loved the little kids area with some sensory things on the wall. Staff was so nice and store was well stocked!”
