“Bought 2 pairs of shoes from them , not on the special. Paid $200.00. one pair was Nike. Wore them for about a week and the right shoe starting squeaking quite badly. I never had this happen with Nike. I thought maybe they needed breaking in. But the squeak just got worse. I finally contacted Nike. The rep at Nike said that this was not covered under their warranty (huge company no empathy). And said go on their site for suggestions to fix this. He tried to blame it on my floor. I said they squeak everywhere! And if it was not a defect then why does the left shoe not squeak on the same surface!! After getting no help from Nike I called Rack Room. I spoke to the manager and told her the above. She said bring the shoes in , no problem, no questions. I brought them back and she said pick out whatever you wish to wear and she replaced the shoes. Even when Nike would not honor their product Rack Room came through. That's customer care . All I wanted was a shoe that didn't squeak that I paid for and that young gal manager was the sweetest. That's why I won't buy shoes anywhere else but Rack Room Morehead City. Many many thanks.”

“I would like to share my pleasant experience. I'm visiting my friend in Swansboro, NC and we decided to go to TJ Maxx. After we finished, we decided to stop in the Shoe Dept. to see if I could find any shoes for work. I do not normally buy shoes unless I can find a deal. There were two extremely helpful associates who assisted my friend and I while also assisting other customers. My friend kept sending the associates back to the back to get different sized Hey Dudes. They were so accommodating! THANK YOU!! Both were extremely polite and helpful. It's so refreshing to find workers this day in time who seem to want to work. I would definitely recommend this store to locals and visitors alike.”
