“Took my daughter her on a dad/daughter date for her first time in a bookstore. The only thing I regret is not knowing this place existed sooner. Unfortunately we found out they would be closing soon. I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier that this place was my daughter’s first small bookstore experience. This place was amazing. Had a very safe and inclusive feel to it as well as comfortable and welcoming. I can honestly say that when this place closes Morganton is really going to lose something special. Also wanted to note the woman who checked us out was very polite and friendly. She mentioned the books my daughter had chose, made small talk with her and commented on my daughter’s love of unicorns. I am glad to hear though that they may still do some small events around town and you can still purchase from them online. I really hope they continue what they set out to do initially and they will continue to receive or patronage and support!”
