Food Lion is a convenient grocery store that offers a variety of locally made products and regular deals. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, along with the clean and attractive store environment. Many shoppers enjoy the store's sales and the shop and save earn rewards program, which can lead to significant savings on their grocery bills. The store is often praised for its pleasant atmosphere and the availability of cashiers, making shopping easier compared to larger chains like Walmart. However, there are some issues that concern customers. A recurring problem is a persistent bad smell in the store, described as similar to sewer or rotten eggs, which has been present for years. This unpleasant odor can cause headaches and is a major inconvenience, leading some customers to consider shopping elsewhere if the problem is not addressed. Despite this, overall, Food Lion remains a popular choice for many residents, especially given its location and the variety of products offered. Customers are encouraged to participate in surveys to help improve the store and enjoy the benefits of the rewards program.
Always friendly staff and nice clean store. Great managers discounts on meat going out that you can freeze and save money on. Veggies and fruits always look great too
