“I came across this little place today when I googled sandwich shops. So I went, owners were very friendly and by the way it looks a lot of local cliental come here. I had the Turkey, bacon club on sourdough bread with lettuce and tomato. It was fresh and yummy.”
“Great place for fresh produce. They offer, locally, regionally, and nationally grown produce. They accept debit and credit cards but charge a convenience fee for non cash purchases. The management and staff are friendly and helpful.”
“This back road convenient store with a made to order food menu that’s an absolute must. From there, hotdogs all the way to their hillbillies special pizza with all the toppings is some good eating. Fast and friendly service.”

“I have been going to this food lion for a longtime as it's the closest one to me. The people are great and they do a pretty good job on keeping things stocked. There's only one issue I have and it's been going on for years now. Most of the time the whole store smells like sewer or Sulphur or something. Sometimes it's not too bad but other times the smell of rotten eggs will knock your head off. It's definitely not something you want to smell or even think about when buying your food. Like I said it's been going on for years and even when it isn't bad you still smell it. The scent is probably stuck to everything in there.I feel sorry for the employees that have to work in that.. 5 minutes in the store when it's bad gives me a horrible headache. I don't know if they need to get the city of morganton ,a plumber, a food lion maintenance man or someone from Corporate but please get someone out there to find out and fix the problem. If something doesn't change with it soon I'm gonna start shopping somewhere else I'm afraid.”
“Food Lion is my go to for a big portion of my grocery shopping. Love the shop and earn. THIS particular store on Burkemont donated several dozen flowers to give nursing home residents on Mother's Day. So thankful! What a blessing of support.”

He helped me get my gift cards activated so I could pay for my groceries. He was very compassionate and was very helpful. Hope his managers know that he is doing a great job!”
“Out of 7 nearby Dollar General's, this is the only store that will actually answer the phone and had great positive customer service. They had no problem checking actual item availability before I made a trip to the store. You guys are awesome, thank you again.”
“I like the variety of drinks that are imported and sold at the store I even left with a bracelet and some coconut water and some fresh homemade breads that are delicious with an amazing cup of coffee and I had to have this beautiful blue bracelet I think it represents Guatemala which is really cool”
“This Dollar General in Morganton NC beside the Wal-Mart Grocery has it all, the manager really cares about her job, store, etc. She has the shelves full always and if there's a bare spot it's because they are out of stock. Thank you.”
“Small independent gas station that offers both gas and diesel. The inside has the usual convenience store items and Hunt Brothers Pizza.All in all, this is not a bad stop for gas.”

I highly doubt thrifty mart will ever shut down with all the customers and Traffic going by on 70. Just a good ole Country Store that's been around far as i remember and im 40 been going there since I was a child. Very little has changed only some upgrades inside. A+”

“Come here every now and then to pick up a couple of their electrolyte drinks, one of the very few my son and I will ever drink. I enjoy the Spanish music they play and they're always kind to me when I come in. I love their selection of Guatemalan merch and goods. I enjoy every single one of the Hispanic stores here in Morganton. I support the Hispanic community, especially with being the mother of a Guatemalan American son. ¡Gracias a los hispanos y que Dios los bendiga! ?”
“UnderstaffedGood selection on shelvesPoor lady had to deal with huge check out orders stock shelves clean and do a pick up order.she was alone.amazong kind woman.keep in mind most of these stores are understaffed but they are doing there best.Visited 2/26/22 I can out hope things get easier and she gets more help”
“Who hasn't been to a Walmart? This walmart I have to say is much better than the one in my town. It's layed out different. I like it. They had alot yet left over from Christmas. Like 3 isles of Christmas stuff. I found some adorable little cactus ornaments for next year. They were 50% Off so $1.00 for 4 little ones. I bought 2 packages I thought they were adorable! The garden department where all the Christmas stuff was is now bare in areas. Over all we didn't mind shopping here. We would definitely stop back here and shop!”
