Border Station is a convenient stop located on the way to the Outer Banks, offering a variety of items such as gas, souvenirs, tobacco products, drinks, snacks, and sweets. The business has recently changed ownership and now functions more like a typical convenience store, but it still provides a unique experience with its random selection of items and quirky atmosphere. Inside, there is a small restaurant where visitors can enjoy tasty options like the famous breakfast biscuit and the cheddar BBQ biscuit. The bathrooms are generally clean, and staff are friendly and helpful. While some aspects, like the bathroom condition and the presence of potentially sketchy individuals, are less ideal, many find the overall experience enjoyable and worth stopping for a quick break, refreshments, or a meal. It’s a one-stop shop with a little bit of everything.

Straddling the Va/NC state line the store sells tobacco products and other items. I didn't look around to see all their wares,so I can't say much more about it, other than that they have decent prices on tobacco products.
