Update 2025: Hot Spot has really upped their game. They completely revamped the pumps and facility. It looks nice and is clean. My wife and I even stop by from time to time and get some ice cream. People are friendly. Still have issues getting a receipt at the pumps but overall it’s a to better. I’m changing to 4 stars. If they could make diesel covered and in a better location/access it could be 5 stars and get those pumps to print a receipt.
Place is really looking run down. Can't seem to ever get a printout of a reciept. Broken air pump for tires. It seems as if nobody cares about the appearance.

Stopped in on my way back to Atlanta; great eating, good atmosphere, reasonable. 10/10 will be back again. (CHILI SLAW DAWGS FOR THE WIN!)

Always friendly service! Everytime me and my husband go in there is always smiling face's! Thank you for Always being friendly and having smiling face's everytime anyone goes inside. Because there is most gas stations that is rude as hell everytime you go in. So Thank you for not being rude!

This review isn’t about the connivence store but for Hotties Kitchen. I called in a pizza order. Before placing my order I specifically asked if they had their Philly cheese steak pizza. While the girl was checking I ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza with tomatoes. Was told they had it so I ordered two of them and a pepperoni pizza as well. My son got there to pick up my order and he was given two pizzas and two sub sandwiches. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it so I ate the cost of $16 and sent him in to order the two philly cheese streak pizzas we were originally supposed to have. The lady was so rude and made a big deal with having to make them and how long it would take her that he just said forget it and ordered two meat lovers instead. And that was just the start of it. The chicken bacon ranch pizza not only did not have the tomatoes added but it was freezing cold. It literally tasted like it was one that was ordered earlier that day and never picked up. The other 3 pizzas were way over cooked. Now we have gotten pizzas there several times, and yes I understand ordering 5 pizzas is a lot, but they have always been great and the staff have always been friendly and nice until tonight. Just shows that one bad employee can ruin a business.

The premade food under the heat lamp has to be the lowest quality chicken and beef ive ever eaten. Makes cafeteria food seem fine dining. 2/$10 and i threw both away. I thought my chicken sandwhich had pickles on it but it didnt. The chicken was that disgusting.

After a very long drive from Florida we stopped in to get snacks and use the restroom. The restroom was amazing extra clean and well stocked. Thank you Elan store 2008 for doing a great job. We stopped at alot of places and you definitely had the cleanest. Thank you so much.

Don't use your debit or credit card at this location unless you want identity theft. The last two times I have used my card here there is suddenly unauthorized charges showing up as Hot Spot Murphy NC

Nice, clean convenience store with a small vintage style restaurant as a bonus. Food and gas prices seem fair. Workers are friendly.
Restrooms are immaculate. (A rare thing to find these days)
