“Even though there are automotive repair shops closer by here in Rocky Mount and perhaps slightly cheaper, I prefer Murray's automotive repair shop. I don't mind making an appointment, and at least they have a waiting area where I can sit and rest my aching back. They do very good work and it's well worth the time and money!”
“The owner, Solis, has great customer service skills. I brought my Lexus here about a month ago after it was sideswiped by a semi. The repair took about a week. When I got the car back, it looked nearly brand new—but I soon noticed the passenger-side window wouldn’t roll down fully. Turns out the window regulator wasn’t aligned properly. Since the accident impacted that side, I figured they had removed panels, but just to clarify: the window worked perfectly before I brought it in.
I brought the car back, and Solis immediately apologized and fixed it on the spot, no questions asked—he even offered complimentary food and drinks while I waited.
Fast forward to today, I was driving a friend home and when she tried to get out, the door wouldn’t open. The interior handle linkage hadn’t been reconnected. I also noticed overspray and orange peel under the door handle. So once again, I brought it back. And once again, Solis was extremely apologetic—he stopped what he was doing and took care of it right away. I appreciate that he owned up to the team’s mistakes and acted quickly to make it right. That says a lot about his integrity.
