“This is a cute shop with a wide selection of items, from clothing to poly furniture to souvenirs. Although a bit pricey compared to some of the other shops, I really appreciate the craftsmanship of the items here and found my favorite New Bern logo t-shirt. They have the largest selection in town of the shops I visited. As a nice touch, they will also do up a nice gift bag with ribbons for free. You can't beat those small touches that make for great service and will keep customers coming back.”

I made A phone call with the Friendly staff and they’re willing to go out of their way to be helpful. Described what I’m looking for to customize numerous small gifts for a class reunion with this business and they were more than willing to go out of the normal business routine to do their best to fill the order. Once they realize they didn’t have what I was looking for they quickly gave me four different options to shop online.”

“We never fail to find the perfect gift for someone here and they are always unique and special. You never see them in other places. In a pinch, I’ve even called the owners and they have helped me out over the phone. They are really great guys, have wonderful taste and are very patient and fun. I particularly love that they sell free trade items. All you have to do to put some Joy and Light into your life is to follow the fabulous smell (their handmade candles) on Craven Street.”

“I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to a friend in New Bern. I had tried to order her flowers the week before but the flower shop didn't deliver the order. I decided to cancel the flower order and send an edible arrangement instead and I am so glad I did. They had some issues delivering but were extremely persistent. They called the recipient and when they couldn't get a hold of her, they called me. We figured it out and they delivered my order. I really appreciate the effort they put into it. The arrangement was beautiful and my friend loved it. I recommend this location. They go above and beyond! The fruit was very fresh.”
