“A'Lissa was wonderful! I stopped into Carolina Creations looking for unique, locally made North Carolina gifts for relatives, and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. She helped me select some beautiful wooden earrings made by an artist from Edenton, NC, as well as a lovely bud vase made right here in New Bern.
She also offered to wrap the gifts for me and provided gift bags, which was such a nice touch and a huge help.
It's so nice to have a shop here in New Bern where you can find beautiful, distinctive gifts that are actually made locally rather than mass-produced overseas. Great selection and wonderful customer service. I'll definitely be back!”
“Love this store , went in to find fall decor and everything fall related was 40 percent off . I am very happy with my purchases of glass (?light up) pumpkins in several different colors and all the fall picks I purchased for my table arrangement.”
“Such a cute little artsy/antique shop — perfect for finding a unique gift! The selection is really diverse, with everything from paints and crafts to old windows. We enjoyed browsing and picked up a few cute items. Some pricing felt a bit high, and a few pieces seemed a little out of place for the store’s overall vibe, but overall it’s a fun spot to explore.”

“I stopped by HomeGoods in New Bern on Thursday just to browse for bedroom lamps, and I ended up having one of the best shopping experiences I've had in a long time.
I met a wonderful, helpful, and funny employee named Shy who assisted me throughout the furniture department. He went above and beyond by moving furniture so I could see pieces that were buried behind other items and helped me look through rugs, which can be very heavy and difficult to move.
Because of his excellent customer service, I ended up purchasing a rug and several other items. Shy quickly wrapped up my purchases and had everything ready at the front of the store. Before I even reached the register, he was already there waiting to help. He also kindly helped load everything into my car without me even having to ask.
It was so refreshing to encounter an employee who was genuinely helpful, hardworking, and always smiling. Shy made my shopping trip enjoyable and stress-free. HomeGoods is fortunate to have such an outstanding employee, and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves! Great store always stocked and clean!”
“Absolutely fabulous! Love the gifts. Unique and beautiful. The gift baskets are perfect and they helped us out in a time crunch. Highly recommend for your corporate gift baskets in New Bern and the surrounding areas!!”
“I am sorry I have not shopped there!! There free membership program is awesome. I was afraid prices would be inflated but they were not. I even got a discount. They have a wonderful variety of gift type items. Lovely store!!”
“If you happen to be in New Bern, go visit this shop. Many items created by local artists and crafters as well as an interesting collection of items from other countries. The shop keepers are a joy to visit with. It's a little off the beaten path but you can find it and you'll be more than happy you did.”
“A very cute home goods store where you could find little presents for people as well. It was a great little store and I'm glad I stopped! I didn't purchase anything, but it was nice to walk around.”
