“I stopped by HomeGoods in New Bern on Thursday just to browse for bedroom lamps, and I ended up having one of the best shopping experiences I've had in a long time.
I met a wonderful, helpful, and funny employee named Shy who assisted me throughout the furniture department. He went above and beyond by moving furniture so I could see pieces that were buried behind other items and helped me look through rugs, which can be very heavy and difficult to move.
Because of his excellent customer service, I ended up purchasing a rug and several other items. Shy quickly wrapped up my purchases and had everything ready at the front of the store. Before I even reached the register, he was already there waiting to help. He also kindly helped load everything into my car without me even having to ask.
It was so refreshing to encounter an employee who was genuinely helpful, hardworking, and always smiling. Shy made my shopping trip enjoyable and stress-free. HomeGoods is fortunate to have such an outstanding employee, and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves! Great store always stocked and clean!”

“Fun more than a hardware store for sure! Lots of gift ideas. Everything from bird feeders, kitchen utensils, seeds, plants, candy, jams and jellies. Stay are great , very helpful when asked and not hounding the customers. Its a must visit if you come to New Bern.”
