“I’d seen their commercials several times and was interested in checking them out but they were over an hour away from me. Was in the neighborhood and looking for a piece of white gold jewelry small enough to fit on my hand. Priced checked online jewelers as well as chain stores in person and found them to be twice as expensive as Hearne’s. Additionally, the service at Hearne’s is top-notch as each customer is viewed as a person, not dollar signs. They have their own jewelers who actually come out and speak with you about the work they’ll do!
Audrey initially quoted me a higher price than it cost to actually custom make my ring, but only charged me what it cost (a pleasant surprise that I saved money)! She also made this one fit my my other ring perfectly so I can stack them both! I could go on about how they went above and beyond (polishing my other ring so it’d look as nice as the one they made, etc.) to make my experience wonderful!! In short, if you’re not in New Bern but looking for a reliable jeweler in eastern NC, it’s worth the drive!”

“If you are only going to visit one pawn shop in eastern North Carolina, it needs to be this one. All of the staff is kind and courteous. The inventory is well stocked and cataloged, unlike other pawn shops I have been to where everything is scattered all over the place. The staff is very well knowledged about the products they are selling and every time I have been in it has been a great experience. During the summer I had a couple of AC units that I was trying to get rid of and they allowed me to come in on a day they had scheduled to be closed just to accommodate me and my schedule. I cannot recommend and compliment them enough. At East 70 pawn you don't leave feeling like just another sale or transaction, you leave feeling like a valued friend who they can't wait to see walk through that door again.”
