“Always clean, always stocked, and very nice workers! I can usually depend on them having my favorites in stock. This area has grown significantly. Not only can you go grocery shopping but you can drop off your UPS or FedEx package, get your hair and nails done, get a massage, have your eyes checked, see a doctor, and have lunch.”

“Love our local Harris Teeter. Shelves are stocked with what we need. They carry the food brands that my family loves. If not the staff have always been helpful in obtaining an item. Love the extra wide idles. Store is clean. Even emergency exit door number six looks great in the back of the store. Such a great effort in keeping a nice clean environment. we saw a diligent Harris Teeter employee painting the handicap post yellow today. I guess even the big stores have to spring clean. Thank you for feeding us and keep those poles bright yellow”

“Galley Store is for the general public, not just boaters at the marina. They have BP gas pumps out front that pump competitively priced gas. Not only that, it's a beautiful store that is very convenient , offering snacks, meals & delectibles right here in the heart of New Bern on the water with a beautiful view. You're at Union Point & crave coffee & a snack, go to The Galley Store, large coffee is $1.89 they have medium & dark roast. There's beer & wine, ice & propane exchange plus gift items, souvenirs. It's a fully stocked convenience store with good taste & a lively imagination. I'm so glad I finally ventured in there! It saves me cross town & bridge trips.”

“Zach the bartender is on top of his game everytime. I have never seen someone so personable and sweet. He learns your order and remembers it. One of the funniest people to buy a drink from. Turns your bad day into the best you could ever have. Bootleggers and Barrels, a home away from home!”

“Behind a gas station, a block from my hotel, lay this jewel of a convenience store. It's the epitome of a small town store and I loved it. They display a bunch of unique snacks and food, in addition to a plethora of wines, beer and champagne. But the real gem is the case at the front of the store next to the register that holds the HUGE homemade truffles. I did not get a picture of them all because I ate them too quickly, but I got the banana split, the pb fudge, strawberry something or other and they all were fantastic. I went back to bring some home with me. Would go back solely for these truffles.”
