“Had some new key fob for my 2012 f250 king ranch I needed cut from the originals. I had already programmed the lock and unlock myself and once I got the keys cut I was going to program the start function. The gentleman that helped me cut 2 keys for me. They or any keysmit doesn't like too use key fob bought from anywhere except from them for quality reasons. After looking at mine he decided to cut mine. He did an awesome job and both worked great. Thanks for doing it for me plus me programming myself saved me around $300. Ace Hardware is awesome.”

“I was greeted when I walked in and asked where torque wrenches are. He told me the isle but I needed to be more specific because what wrench I was looking for was inch/lbs not ft/lbs. I happen to make my was up to the register and I saw what I was looking for right in front of the register. He told me it had a lifetime warranty so that's good. I used it the next day doing my valve covers and it worked perfectly. Would recommend it”

“Oxford Ace is my new go-to Ace. I am new to the area. I had a Sthil chainsaw and blower in need of repair. Oxford has an expert technician with over 30 years experience and he has been at this store for years. The shop is well stocked with parts and a big selection of new Sthil equipment. I was greeted by the store owner, who was working the floor, and lives and works in our neighborhood. I learned that Ace has a mix of corporate stores and locally owned stores in the area. Oxford will be my first stop for all things Sthil.”

“I've rented a large variety of tools and equipment from this location over the years with no issues. Even had to bring a tool back that stopped working during my rental period and my rental fee was 100% refunded. However, knocking one star off due to an experience today. Let's just say, if you want to rent a flatbed truck, do not let them know you plan on towing with it. They won't let you rent it. Really tough to find a rental pickup to do a short distance local tow and this seemed like the best option until I told them this. Lesson learned, no small talk next time. Just get the keys and head out the door.”
“I could not get my gas fireplace to work at the most in opportune with the impending snow storm to hit the Triad area this weekend. I need it to keep me warm in case I lose electricity. I called all over Greensboro to have my fireplace serviced to no avail.
I contacted Edward and Mills and they asked me to send them photos of my fireplace. Well, George texted me back with what I had to do to get my fireplace operable. No appointment necessary. Apparently, I just didn’t know how to light it and George from Edward and Mills taught me how to do it ahead of the storm. Thank you!”
“This is a great place for all types of rentals from chainsaws to electric power washers, which was what I rented recently. Customer service is 98% on it and engaged! Easy access is also a plus. This place has its own special entry point from outside of the building. I will be renting an extended pole mini chainsaw within the coming weeks. Oh, I forgot to mention they have an excellent online access source, where you can schedule, in advance, a rental at any store.”
“I love this Wendover location. The store is well stocked, but any time I cannot find something I ask an associate. They will go above and beyond to locate it, even using the ladder or equipment to get it from storage up top. In the off chance they do not have it, they will direct me to another store that does.”
“I previously left a poor review but I can now see this store has improved dramatically under the current management. I was greeted by Brandon which told me where to find lawnmower blades. While leaving, he asked did I find it, I said yes but a competitor had a lower price. He took me to customer service and they gave me that price. Customer service, at returns, was fast and the manager approved this with a smile. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF.

“I have two of their Liberty 712 hose reels. It is an outstanding product, and the only hose reel I have tried that has lasted this long (7 years and going strong). They both work just as well as when I bought them. However, I accidentally broke a component on one reel. I called to see if they offered that replacement part. Megan (apologies if I have an incorrect spelling) who answered the phone was VERY knowledgeable about their products. She was also very courteous. We talked through the options for repairs, and she knew the details of product design and assembly. It was a breath of fresh air to have a company rep answer the phone with that level of knowledge. She saved me grief and money. When one reel sprung a leak, I was able to buy an inexpensive O-ring and snap-ring replacement package. I love that this product is assembled in a way that I can maintain it when needed - that seems rare these days. Thanks!”
“First if I could give them 10 stars I would! I am an average homeowner not the usual professional tree, or lawn company. Today 11/29/2023 I spoke with Dona on the phone she advised me they had a new bar and chain for my STIHL chainsaw in stock! (That I have been looking for)I purchased it, later that afternoon I went back because STIHL NOT anyone at STI had the chain part wrong! I spoke with Greg, Preston, Dona(who remembered my name 5 hours later), and two other employees (technicians sorry I forgot your names). Everyone in this store was so willing to help try and solve this manufacturers issue! After about an hour STI brilliant staff was able to figure out the part issue (bar/chain)..Thank you guys so much!You guys have a customer for life.Joe”
“Delivered OSB, quick unload. Overnight pkg for one truck outside gate on rhs (blue circle). Recv hours 0700-1500. Pull through gate( red line and circle) and stay straight park next to lumber on rhs. Someine on the lift truck will direct you where to go to get unloaded.”
“Delivered rebar here and had a very quick unload time. Overnight PKG available. Recv starts at 0700 but they load their trucks first but wait time is still minimal. Enter and follow the green line to the gate.”
“Timing 7:30am to 4:30pm don’t show up before 7:30am they start unloading when the area is clear around 9am you can see in the picture. You have to park on dock 1 which is blind back and i got unloaded in 20 minutes.”
