Tiger's eye 11/8 was a 5 star experience. Too many bad reviews. This isn't a flawless course, but the layout and staff make up for any bare spots or weeds I encountered. It's nice where it counts.
I found myself sanding mine and many other fresh fairway divots each hole. Each green I repaired a half dozen ball marks. Its sad to see that people disregard this or just aren't aware.
Tigers is best design of the cat's, Leopards chase best overall condition. This one has it's dings (none of which interfered with play), but the staff was the best I've encountered. The starter was very helpful with several course tips, being my 1st time here. He also informed me of the limited distance markers and that It's been over seeded, so tee boxes and greens are longer as the rye comes in.
I arrived early to warm up on the range and was let out as a single. This allowed me to take some pictures and enjoy the abundant wildlife, nature & course architecture. This was my favorite of the Big Cat's and I'll certainly return

Bumpy slow greens and plenty of dead spots

Golf course wasn't in great shape but the staff was awesome. Very friendly cart attendants, cart ladies, pro shop staff and rangers. The fairways were rough, not mowed and filled with weeds. Greens were smooth but lacking the speed that a $95 course should deliver. 5 stars for the staff and 3 for the course.

First time playing Tiger’s Eye. Wilson at the pro shop was friendly and accommodating. Starter was upfront about course conditions being a little off, but I found the course to be in solid shape. Some rough bunkers here and there, but nothing worth taking a drop over, Greens were especially nice. Decent speed and rolled true. Excellent service all around. Will absolutely play again next year.

Played Leopards Chase and Tigers Eye. Leopards is a wonderful track. Tigers Eye was a fun course to play just not in great shape. Will play both again for sure.

Booked through Golfmoose for $50 per player. That’s a fair rate for the courses current conditions. Tee boxes aren’t very well maintained, fairways were ok, and the greens are mutilated from rounds played. Going to try the other 3 courses to see if any of them are in “good” shape. Staff is over the top friendly and make for a fairly pleasant experience. Appears as though this would have been a great place to play 10+ years ago. Hopefully, they continue to reinvest to bring the course up to par.

Played tigers eye for the first time. The check in street was to notch and ran a very well oiled machine. They were friendly, fast and very knowledgeable about the current course conditions. The greens had been punched about 10 days prior to my round and we were told that they were about 85 to 90 percent back to where they should be. The started advice of playing the first nine holes from the left side of the fairway was shot on. Add was taking an extra club on hole 6 - an elevated par 3. This advice was shot on and was a huge part of my shooting an 81 (blue tees). The greens played as described and the round took a hair over 4 hours. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape with the fairways playing fast due to our drought conditions. Overall this is a track that anyone would enjoy playing as it is a thinking players track. Highly recommend and I am happy I gave it a first look as it will not be my last.

Played the front nine at tigers eye and it was worth the price to play. Clubhouse staff was very friendly and helpful and the course layout was fun to play. Would definitely come back and play.

I never leave reviews but this was just the worst experience I have ever had in my 50 years of playing golf. The employees, not to point fingers or anything but Kevin was awful. He was sassy, sarcastic, didn’t even take his job seriously. Her talked down to me like I was child that had no clue what to do. At the end he said quote “you look like you were struggling on hole 9” this was my breaking point and I am now in the car writing this review. Coarse was mediocre and half the holes were under construction. 0/10 and will never play here again. Makes me not even want to play golf in the ocean isle area anymore.

Course was in great shape, staff were friendly and helpful starting with a southern gentleman who welcomed us and even opened the door for us. Very nice layout, challenging but fair. Place of play was 4 hours, we waited at the tee block twice and the group behind us had to wait twice but all around, it was very good.
Highly recommend and we will be back.

Played Tiger's Eye using the Tee Time Pass Book. Good price. This course is fun to play. Keep in the fairways for your best scoring chances. The sand is clean and smooth and easy to get out, but stay away from the high edges. Got a lot of roll in the fairways. The tee boxes and greens are great. Very smooth rolling greens which are undulating with no flat lies. I use a Skycaddie device that didn't show some of the hazards. Overall a very good course like all the cats.
