“I want to thank the two employees that helped my mom last Thursday. My mom fell in the parking lot. I couldn't get her up. Two employees helped me. One got the first aid kit and bandaged her knees and arm. I got my mom to First Health. I wanted to thank them from the bottom of my heart. My mom is fine. Scraped up and bruised, but thank God, no broken bones.”
“Today is a tough day! It makes 1 year since I’ve lost a close friend and I’ve been searching for balloons for her balloon release today and no other dollar generals would answer the phone but this one. Sharon searched HARD for me some purple balloons because she understood my pain. She couldn’t find purple balloons in the beginning but even kept searching after I told her I would settle for whatever. She got me RIGHT and she even said it when I seen her. I could see the happiness in her face from what she did and it has made me so happy on a day that I’m so broken. The littlest things matter, Sharon deserves the merriest Christmas and every blessing coming!”

I have noticed the general manager runs off employees with a fast turnover rate. So this puts extra pressure on staff as they are constantly training.
Manager, brushes by Females in a hurried manner and has poor communication skills. Maybe manager needs newer classes or another training seminar. As a local business owner myself , I treat my employees fairly and do not talk down to them on the basis of gender. I would hope that he was having a bad few months. It is important to keep trained employees on staff instead of training all of the time.
Store is always stocked well and never blocked isles with overstocked merchandise. Parking lot is always clean for a rural store. Maybe work on treating , training staff in a professional productive atmosphere instead of looking for reasons to pick on the ladies. Sometimes when we take the time to self reflect we aren’t always happy with ourselves:)”

“The store on 7071 Raeford Rd is the most well organized I’ve seen in the area. Clean store and very courteous front end staff Ms Tonia. I will shop at this store.”
“There is a lot of turn around at this location & it stays busy. This particular location offers gas at a great price as well as 3 cents off every gal up to 20 gal if you get it on their DG prepaid/gift card. DG has those nifty containers placed like Wally world never has!”
“This is a Family Dollar inside the Westin shopping center near the large Walmart and Lowes. It's in western Cumberland County near the Hoke county line. It's great for a quick in and out shopping visit. Look for it in the strip center. See photos.”
“Dollar General is where I shop for the best prices on dog foods and treats, but this past week I discovered that all of them charges different prices, what use to be $1.00 on Dollar Tree aisles are now $1.35 @ FD, and DG. My bill was averaging $35.00, last weekend it was $73.00, I almost passed out when I saw the total and they no longer accept my UHC discount card for OTC products”

“Went there for my first time yesterday and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the aisles and the well maintained merchandise. Hardly anything was out of order. This is how it should be in all stores! So far it's the best looking one in Fayetteville I've seen. Only issues I saw was the floors need to be bleached and the ceiling in the rear left needs to be completed. Roll containers need to be in the back room when employees are not stocking. Fortunately only 2 of the rollers were on the floor.”

“This one is normally very good, however, I went to the store to get a propane tank exchange and the employee said there were none for exchange and when I asked if any other Dollar General would have one, they gave me a quick 'no'. The container outside with the tanks had new ones with tags still on them but when I went to the other Dollar General near my home, they had a lot of propane tanks for exchange. I'm just gonna say this now, if you didn't want to go outside and get the tank, just say so. Don't lie about not having them and telling people that other locations don't have them either. The best one to go to, in my opinion, is the one on Rockfish Road. Other than this, the store is normally well stocked and has a variety of options for food and decor.”
“Went to Family Dollar looking for a binder to hold paperwork in different compartments, however they only offer binders for loose leaf papers. Had to go to Walmart to find what I needed!”
“Great selection for the limited items they are known to carry! Got some nice clothes there today! They were a good, sturdy brand and priced way cheaper than even Wal-Mart! Wal-Mart is usually my go to for all my jeans but not any more! I will be checking for clothes first at Family Dollar before I go any where else. They also had a ton of nice clearanced items. I ended up purchasing an 8 pack of super soft white stretchy ankle socks for $4.50..and I love them! Going back to get more! Never underestimate the littler stores...they have more to offer than you think!!”

“The employees all seem to be courtious & helpful, at least the ones I happened to encounter. The store itself is kind of tight & cluttered, not conveniently arranged so that a wheelchair or an electric scooter could get through without some difficulty. But they do have a wide variety of items which include everything from pet, automotive, & arts & crafts supplies, to clothing, food, kitchen & bathroom, as well as school supplies. Not to mention the prices are fair. So in conclusion I highly recommend a visit to Family Dollar to see for yourself.”
