“Have to agree with a lot of these other reviews, what a great hidden gem and place to stay. Recently bought an investment property in the area and have been staying a little over a week. Not even bothered it is taking a bit longer than anticipated to complete because I like this place that much. The owner Mike really does care and it's easy to tell, they truly do make you feel like family. Brandon, Emma and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make that feeling go even further. Great place for drinks and food on the weekends too. From Jess at the bar to Beto the chef ( spelling ) in the kitchen. He made me a great cheesesteak and fries the first weekend and no lie the best wings of my life the second. When you pull up and see the Inn, then stay, instinctively, you will think this is way too good of a price for the quality. Nearly every guest I've talked to has said the same and in any business when all of your customers/patrons are saying they feel like they are getting a great deal? You know you have something good going. Closed on selling my old property May 1st and on the road from VA to MD, to Ohio then down here to NC, staying at hotels for most of it and this by far has been the best of that trip. I really can't say enough good things about this place and the family and staff running it.”

“I accidentally had the reservation booked for the next day and the staff worked with us to get a room for that night. It was in the middle of the US Open and I cannot thank them enough for helping us fix our reservation. The rooms are beautiful and walking distance to everything in pinehurst resort amenities.”

“Well we had a new waitress and I understand that you have to learn but you don't sit people down and just leave. She needs to be trained properly on what to and not to do. We waited for a long time between her coming by for help. People who came into the restaurant way after we did was getting their food and we are waiting on ours. We waited over an hour to get food. That's not good at all. My husband's food was good mine on the other hand was not. I steak was raw and burnt. It smelled burnt and had blood coming out of it. Med well does not have blood coming out of it. Very disappointed in the whole thing. First time going to eat at this restaurant probably my last.”

“I stayed at the inn this past weekend and had a great experience. Ashland was incredibly helpful from check-in to check-out—offering great restaurant recommendations, directions, and keeping us updated on downtown and lounge events. Loved the DJs on the courtyard! D’Onna in housekeeping was also amazing and very quick with communication.”

“We had our annual golf outing in Pinehurst last week and had no reservations for dinner as we wanted to float around in the Village of Pinehurst. After a couple cocktails at various places we discovered…….we were hungry. I suggested we try to get a table at the Holly Inn as my son and I had eaten there before and the food was outstanding. Well, once again, the food, service and seating arrangements were spot on!! We sat in the back room at a table for all 9 of us. The team was very accomodating and everything was on point!! Thank you for making me look like a hero for choosing The Holly Inn and thanks to your team for making it a great night out.”

“Stayed here one night while traveling thru returning from vacation. Very clean, quiet, and well taken care of hotel. We were traveling with a dog and hotel was accomodating for our companion as well. We personally are not much on breakfast but coffee was very good and there were sufficient goodies if we had wanted something. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Not the Ritz but quiet, comfortable, and relaxing while on the road. Bottom line, great value.”

“I travel a lot. Upper end Hotels are not my thing. They are nice but not something I reach for. THIS Hotel is really good for the price. It's clean, it's quiet, the staff are pleasant and accommodating. The landscaping is nice. The room is clean as it should be and everything works. If you like a nice midrange priced Hotel and you are realistic you will love this Hotel like I do.”
