Great course! Tees, fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Challenging layout but multiple tee boxes makes it very playable for all. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. If you get a chance to play #8, do it.

Really enjoyed No.8 at Pinehurst. There is more variety to the holes here with water hazzards, elevation changes and forced carries. Like the othe Pinehurst courses, conditions were immaculate even with the number of golfers they host. Greens were fast and breaks were subtle, requiring a careful read. No. 8 is forgiving off the tee but you still need to pick the best line to set up the approach shot. Most holes were visable from the tee but for those blind shot holes, they have a nifty camera system to view the fairway to ensure the group in front is clear. My round felt slow but toom us 4:15, maybe because the other rounds too under 4 hours and we had to wait more often on the tee box this round. Pl8te in the clubhouse is worthy for a post-round meal. The fried chicken plate was tasty.

Great resort course with wonderful service in all areas. Tough to lose a golf ball but not an easy course particularly. Beautiful back nine. Good practice facilities and dining amenities. Not an easy walking course. but on the other hand, especially if you do not know the course, caddies are knowledgeable and well trained and we found them very helpful.

Great course, but the little things matter too. Our golf cart GPS was way off; the GPS pin placements were way off; the cart suspension was worn out and noisy; the $8 sandwiches at the snack bar were awful, not at all fresh, soggy and bland; the range balls were embarrassing, so worn out that a lot of them barely had dimples.
It’s one of our favorite golf courses in Pinehurst but they need to step it up on the non-course stuff.

This is one of my favorite courses at Pinehurst and have to love a Tom Fazio designed course.

One of the best golf courses you will ever play! It may not have the prestige of its brethren No. 2, but once it gets a few big tournaments under its belt, it will build a reputation of its own! If I'm not mistaken, it is a Fazio course. That name speaks for itself.

Just a great course. If you can't get no2 then number 8 is a masterpiece. Precision is needed but somehow it's also a little forgiving at times. I was blessed to be able to play here and when I'm in this neck of the woods again I will do what I can to play here again. Club houses are amazing and the cart girls are great!! I forgot how much I miss the southern accent.

Pl8te restaurant has a trout preparation that beat the amazing fried chicken with bourbon sauce. Fried green tomatoes are a must to start & pecan cheesecake for a perfect finale.

I mean it’s Pinehurst ! Of course it’s the best !
I think the guy who helped us with our carts and answering any of the questions we had was named Blake I believe. Super cool guy 🏌🏽♂️ The gentleman who was the bathroom attendant was also a cool guy. So shout out to the guy who was the attendant the morning of Monday July 7th 🏌🏾♂️.
We played the day after a massive tropical storm and the course was still in the best condition!
