Came here for work, would definitely come again.Best western pineville was easily accessible to Charlotte and South Carolina, the rooms were spacious clean and the area is around both restaurants and stores.Kristen was great at answering all questions I had and made sure that my check in process was seamless . She suggested different restaurants as well as answered my questions about the area. She was polite and went out of her way to ensure I enjoyed my stay.

We were passing through Charlotte on our way from Florida and wanted a place to rest and get on our way, so we stayed at the Best Western Pineville. Check in was quick, the attendant was ok, the room had carpeting and that was a bad point (the clerk said that all the rooms had carpeting), the room had dirty carpeting and a broken toilet. The highlight was the breakfast, everything was delicious and it was included in the price of the stay. Location: not close to the highway, if you're heading north you need to take a detour. Room 114Rooms: Bed and pillows were comfortable. Carpet had some dirt residue and broken toiletFood & drinks: Breakfast delicious

It was quite the experience. The cons: 3 out of 4 days there was something going on with the water. Either the hot water was turned off or the water was completely shut off. The elevator is sketchy and I was scared to use it every time. The door takes 3 sometimes 4 times till it finally closes… also it would just get stuck on a floor. When we checked out, we had to carry our luggage down 4 flights of stairs.A lot of the outlets/ USB power sources did not work in the room. Also one of the mornings the fire alarm went off because someone burnt toast downstairs. This isn’t a problem but what I thought was a bit scary is that our room did not have the alarm going off… it was only in the hallway. I’m a very light sleeper so I was able to hear it and run down to make sure everything was ok.. my dad was not woken up by the faint sound in the hall. If it were a real fire, this is a big safety concern as people could sleep right through it.Pros: It’s a great location with plenty of food options to choose from. It’s very close to the north/South Carolina border. Felt like everything was a short drive away. Also, the free breakfast was pretty good! Most of the employees were nice enough. I’ll add that once my dad complained about the water issues he was given one free night. That was appreciated.Safety: Safety concerns with the elevator and fire alarms.Walkability: Great location

I checked out hotel and I found my bag is missing while I was in the gas station in the South Carolina after 2 hours driving. I called hotel and the reception told me that the bag was recovered. I drove back to hotel and got my empty wallet, all money was gone. It was worst experienced in my life. My travel was ruined and left me with no cash.Safety: Lost my money in the hotel room.

Physically the room was beautiful and the bathroom tiling was very nice. The refridgerator was huge. The Spectrum cable package was overwhelming but good.Nice sized room. The breakfast options needed a bit more variety.Really good locations that puts you even close to the South Carolina border.Walkability: Lots of stores and mall area around the corner.

In general, not the worst hotel from my memory, but I wouldn't call it a hotel. More like a hostel or motel. We stayed for 7 nights, and our room was never cleaned once! It's not just disappointing; it's a complete lack of respect for the customer. We asked every day when the room would be cleaned, and they said it happens every three days. When no one came to clean on the sixth day, the receptionist simply said, "Yeah, strange," with no apologies or solutions. This completely overshadowed any positive aspects of the hotel.Because the room wasn't cleaned, trash was piled up in the corridor for days. If you run out of soap or toilet paper, you have to go to the reception and practically beg for it. They look at you as if you're asking for charity. The towel situation is similar. You bring your wet towels to the reception for replacements (we're three people, so that's 9 towels), and there's no place to dry them in the room. If you shower at night, you'll be drying off with damp towels in the morning. As for breakfast, it's the same story. Limited food options, and what's available isn't tasty.Perhaps Americans are not familiar with the concept of service. They should gain experience in Europe."

Me and my partner checked in on the night of January 19th and the person who checked us in didn't tell us that there is no hot water in the hotel. When I was about to take a shower the water was ice cold. I called the front desk and told the guy that answered that there is no hot water, his response was I know and there may not be any hot water until tomorrow afternoon. Me and my partner was beyond pissed because we traveled all the way from NY and could have stayed at a different hotel if the guy at the front desk would have told us that there is no hot water. The guy at that front desk only solution was to speak to the general manger in the morning and he would give us a comp room. In the morning me and my partner went to the front desk and asked to speak to the general manager and was told that he wasn't there and to leave my name and number and that he will call all the guests that are complaining about not having hot water. The general manger never called. I think that he and the rest of his staff are very unprofessional. Me and my partner made reservations through Expedia and was refunded our money back.

My family wanted to help a homeless man during the cold and rainy day and give home a warm place to sleep and take a shower. My brother in law told them what we wanted to do and they would not allow us to help saying they do not allow homeless people to stay there. This came from the manager himself and he was very rude. That is discrimination and I would like people to know how Best western treat homelessness. There will be social media post and possibly news station notifications about how this guy was treated. There was no reason given to us and he was very rude. And by looking at the comments that state they are rude I would definitely say it’s true. It is wrong to not let a person pay for them to stay the night and should be a form of discrimination. You’re not going to turn my comments around on me. I have wrote to the news and told them how we were treated and how this one branch of Best Western treats people with no home. I know you will come back and try to repeat what you told others as the employees were respectful and kind but so people know that’s not the truth. We were big on staying at best westerns and didn’t expect them to treat people this way. This is the last of my comment and review people can judge for themselves. I’m not saying not to stay there it’s the way the front desk treats someone and the tone of how they talk. Have a great night and I hope you feel good about yourself for letting people stay on the street In the Rain and cold.
