“We had Wilbur, Linda(I think), and the store manager today for my daughter's 8th birthday. Everything ran very smoothly, and I am so grateful for how Wilbur guided the girls through the process. He looks quite young; I'm not sure how long he has been working there, but he really knows how to talk to kids, keep them focused, and keep things lively on his own. Personally, I would find this incredibly awkard and intimidating, and I realized that we were lucky to get someone who had a natural proclivity for the high public performance demands to do this job well. All 3 employees paid close attention to the party, and it seemed that what little assistance Wilbur needed during the party was tended to without him ever having to stop and ask at all. Linda even brought us some large bags to bag up the gifts that were brought for my daughter, even insisting on bagging them up herself so we could watch and enjoy our kids' experience. She knew we'd be carrying a lot; something I totally overlooked and didn't prepare for. Wilbur even sat on the floor while the kids colored and asked them individual questions about their choices. If I had any criticism, it's that build-a-bear should mandate that all of their stores provide a small seating area for these kinds of activities for the kids and the employee leading the party. Wilbur did A LOT in a small, busy store on a Saturday to make a really great experience for my daughter and her friends. Thank you Wilbur! You have a great gift, keep using it!”

“This place is every book nerd's dream come true. Two stories, well marked, and had plenty of staff ready to help if needed. Genuinely incredible! Also, I loved that they had a Starbucks in the store. The batista was super sweet and helpful. I was a little upset to see I couldn't use my Starbucks app in store, but it's not a big deal”
