“It's been a while since I had been to this location. Complete 180! I only need a few items but found myself wandering down each and every aisle! There were so many items that were not there on my previous trip! Considering the expansion of item, I was very impressed as to how well straightened the store was!”
“I've recently visited the Dollar Tree on Groometown Rd. I was on a mission to find items for a paint party. Upon entering store #09348 I was greeted warmly by the employees. I asked for acrylic paint ? and a very kind lady showed me which aisle I needed to be on. She went over and beyond helping me and giving me ideas. I didn't see the paint trays and she stopped what she was doing to look in the back for me. I later found out that the kind lady that was assisting me was the manager of the store. She was getting off and I had a lot of bags and she even assisted me with taking my bags to the car. Kerna is a jewel and a keeper. Her store is very clean and organized in which I love.
Great customer service is rare now, but my experience at this store was exceptional and worthy of the praise.

“Great looking store. Allllll the staff my daughter and i encountered was wonderful and so friendly! Also a better selection than some DT. The woman working the checkout with the great vibe and individuality was kind and friendly! There was another employee that was a female walking around stocking shelves and was even letting us know about neat things they had just put out on the shelves and discounted area. This is tied or above our usual DT. Great job ladies!”

The inside of the store is always clean and well organized. But the outside parking area is a big mess though. There's a lot of trash that needs to be cleaned up around the store and in the parking lot. Other than that, it's great!”

“The young lady named Nikki has the most amazingly warm personality, I’m always greeted with a good morning, I know good and well I see her in this store at least 80 hours a week as this store is literally beside my home, I know that poor women is tired but she is so faithful to our community, she shows up everyday, always greeting everyone with such a warm welcome, never makes me feel like a bother when I’ve asked for help, I witness her kindness with every single customer walking that store. She is always running around cleaning, outside cleaning, putting up products, helping every person that seems to be lost and looking for items, always smiling while doing it, I’ve witnessed her helping elderly customers download and clip coupons to save every dollar she can for them, this world needs more people like her, and I’m so glad she’s here working in the community I reside in. I went from visiting maybe twice a week, down to everyday just to hear that warm welcome of hers.”

He took extra steps to inflate balloons with very cumbersome confetti inserts and I appreciate his efforts. He even retrieved a balloon that slipped out of my hands, from the ceiling. “This store is definitely one of the better ones in Randleman, Greensboro or any other surrounding area. The manager Crystal, runs a tight ship and her staff are really on top of keeping shelves stocked, prices updated, unloading trucks and getting inventory up and out of the aisles! “I recently visited this store and management has this place in excellent shape! All the aisles are perfectly organized and straight. Great environment. The whole crew is on top of their game. No riff raff lazy employees which means a lot. Compared to the other dollar general stores in the area this one is the best. Definitely hats off to management. Nicole was the manager on duty and she runs a very tight ship. Good job everyone. It’s nice to go in these retail stores when someone actually cares.”

Update 1-17-25: This location is fine overall, but the customer experience could be improved. A little more enthusiasm when greeting customers, especially during the holiday season, would make a big difference. A warm smile and a cheerful “hello” can go a long way in creating a welcoming atmosphere.
That said, my experience today by the cash register was much better. The staff member actually greeted me, which made my visit feel more pleasant.

“The staff was friendly. The store was a little confusing but I can deal with that. I found everything initially when I looked except the water. The water supply was minimal. I was about to go to Dollar General to get water but at the checkout I saw some water that was acceptable. There should be water of all kinds everywhere except just at the checkout. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.”

Once again, I can enjoy shopping at this DG store. First, the parking lot is CLEAN! Second, inside DG the isles are clear (from front to back), floors are kept clean (swept/mopped), and most of all the SHELVES are STOCKED with PRODUCTS!We (valued customers) owe this remarkable improvement (in part) to the dedicated, and sometimes demanding work done by TOMEKA AUDREY and TYESHA JOHNSON, part of Heidi B's (supervisor) team that I've had the absolute pleasure to interact with on several occasions.
