Wow! The vibes are immaculate! It's a small feel, cozy bookshop in a cute walkable area. Thr owners, Hannah & Bre, make everyone feel welcome, and have a fun selection of local stuff to buy besides books. This is my home away from home ?

Great coffee, great book selection and super friendly staff! I can sit in here for hours reading and drinking coffee.

Blackbird is where literature comes to life, coffee connects us with each other, and creativity flourishes. We are an independent book store and coffee shop located in City Market in downtown Raleigh. We primarily sell adult fiction but carry a little bit of everything. We have a full coffee and espresso drink menu as well as a curated tea selection.
