Body and Brain has been a wonderful experience for me. I am doing personal classes with Susan and she is teaching me so much about my body and how to make positive changes that have benefited in my every day life. I am looking forward to each session with Susan and experiencing new techniques to help me grown not only physically but mentally. A new way of life!

Susan's classes are good for the mind, body, and soul – well paced, relaxing, graceful, and enlightening. My partner and I have been taking online classes with Susan for over a year. Each class feels fresh, and has something new. Susan is my favorite instructor after having taken classes in four other martial arts. A great instructor makes any style of martial arts great.

I love their yoga and tai chi classes because there is such a focus on wellness and healing, as well as community and connection. The teacher is knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. I just feel amazing after class and throughout my week!

I am grateful for every class I take from Susan at Body & Brain. I always without a doubt feel better at the end of class than at the beginning. I joined about six months ago wanting to learn about energy and to practice taichi, and have been doing so - but I have also been learning so much more than that. I've had nothing but positive experiences from this school, and Susan is the best teacher! Also, she makes the classes available to attend online, which is very convenient - I usually attend classes this way.

I initially set out looking for a Tai Chi class to help my 64 year old body with balance and strength but found so much more. The core strengthening and energy Yoga classes along with brain training and many great meditations has greatly improved my overall health. I highly recommend this journey.

I can’t say enough good things about Body and Brain and Susan. I have dealt with anxiety all my life. I has seen many therapist but the talking and meds only went so far. Body and Brain showed me how to take back my brain and my body. For the first time in my life, I am able to control my thoughts and therefore able to better control my emotions. It has been life changing and my entire family not only sees the difference but benefits from it.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to find some peace and happiness.

I have been part of the Body & Brain family for more than 2 years. This practice has helped me in so many ways but the most important have been finding, connecting and loving myself. And by this, been able to share this love everywhere without judgment and limits. I live in Miami, however, participate and take my classes online with the Body & Brain family from Raleigh. Love the energy, feel the love and really enjoy how Master JiMo gives the classes. She is very detailed and her knowledge and passion are wonderful. Kamsahamnida.

I have been taking classes from Ms Jimo (director of Body &Brain Raleigh center ) over a year. My brain feels much calmer, my body feels more flexible and stronger. Jimo is always very punctual, her classes are versatile, I love them!

Body & Brain has been a BIG game changer for me. Since I've been attending for more than three years, I experienced so much improvement on my health and also my emotions. It's helps me a lot with the anxiety and energy levels. After each class I feel more balance, calm and strong. They have different types of classes so I never get bored + workshops are AMAZING. The recent hybrid model (remote and on site) makes it very accessible for me. Susan' class is one of my favorites, she is super nice, makes me feel peaceful, the exercises and meditations are great and fun too. Great school and philosophy, I am very happy to have found them!

What a hidden gem! In looking around for new yoga studio, I found Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi. This is a truly unique place that works your body AND works your brain to create harmony. The exercises are not hard on your body and joints (no jumping around) but rather good stretching, vibrations and relaxation. In the month I have been going, the stress in my neck and shoulders has reduced. I feel more at peace.I would encourage you to try the sample class and see if it is right for you. You just might be surprised.

My experience at Body & Brain has been wonderful. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I went for the first time but the instructor Susan was great and welcoming and I felt comfortable right away. I'm really enjoying learning more about my mind body connection, energy flow and movement. It's been such a unique and great experience so far and I'm looking forward to taking more classes. I highly recommend this place.

Body & Brain is a very different breed of yoga than you might find at the typical studio in Raleigh, and I mean this in the best of ways!I do enjoy a grueling hot yoga class or a slow yin class. But, at B&B, I feel restored and more deeply in tune with my energy after every class. I have felt improvements in my circulation, flexibility, and general awareness in a short time.You can feel new neural connections developing as the exercises challenge your balance and coordination. In the process, be prepared to laugh at yourself joyfully :)One of my favorite things about the style of practice is that it is highly sustainable. I can do it every day, knowing that the risk of injury is negligible. I'm confident that I am keeping myself young and drastically reducing the chance of future injuries.Also, Susan is professional and compassionate. You've got to try this place!
