It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Dan Hill! My husband had went and bought and truck and a week later we decided to go back and get me a car too! We ran into some speed bumps along the way but Dan did everything in his power to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted! I highly recommend capital ford of Raleigh!

I just bought a truck from this place a month ago. I have been calling for the last two weeks about my title, tag, and payoff for my trade-in. First, my trade-in was just paid for with additional fees I had to account for after 25 days. There was a 14-day payoff given, not understanding what took so long. Secondly, I have been calling for two weeks regarding my tag and registration that was suppose to be completed. I’m notified by the dealership property taxes must be paid before they can do any paperwork?! What? I’m a regular at buying vehicles, so that’s a yes and a no. It does not necessarily have to be paid in advance, the accessor just told me they would generate a bill within 120 days. Third, I think it’s a bit ridiculous I ask for a tag extension b/c of the dealer screwup, and they say no? Once again, you come to me the day before the tag expiration and say handle this today!? Now, I’m riding around without a tag or registration simply put, no one would return my call. The professionalism of one’s job at this dealership just is not there, yet you want payments for these vehicles you selling on time. PLEASE DO BETTER!!!

young man on the phone blew me off and was rude :) love talking to service men as a woman never fails, always a lovely interaction. I bought my car brand new from the dealership in cash and he told me i have never been to a ford and he doesn't have a record of my number and he says so do you not have an account or have you never been here before .... and began to mansplain that it would be a 250 charge immediately just to be seen when i just needed something done under the existing warranty closer to home that was already approved my another Ford dealership so i ended the conversation and I'm going to a different dealership now. Yay!

I recently assisted a family member in purchasing a car while living in another state, and our experience with Taylor, the finance manager, was nothing short of exceptional.
Taylor immediately put my mind at ease with his thorough understanding of our unique situation.
The best aspect of working with Taylor was his ability to make us feel safe and confident despite me not being physically present. Taylor coordinated everything seamlessly, ensuring my family member received top-notch service on-site while keeping me in the loop. Thanks to Taylor’s exceptional assistance, my family member now owns a fantastic car that perfectly suits his needs. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and are incredibly grateful for Taylor’s help. If you’re looking for a finance manager who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in their clients’ best interests, we highly recommend Taylor. He has set a new standard for excellence in customer service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently purchased a 2023 F150 Lightning from Capital Ford. I could not possibly have asked for a better experience. My salesman was Ron who is an incredible person and I highly recommend working with him. The Capital Ford team worked diligently to find all applicable rebates and discounts available and arraigned for 0% financing from Ford Motor Credit. The vehicle itself is far exceeding my expectations, to the point where my daughter arrived the next day and purchased a Mach-E. Outstanding job from team Capital Ford. Yes I am a real person and no, nobody paid me to write this.

Got a really great deal on my '22 F-150, and Hunter did a great job beginning to end. Plus the whole closing process was done in less than an hour. First time for everything, I guess. Lol.

Let me first say that i've been going to Captial Ford of Raleigh for car purchases since I was 19 years old. I'm now 51. Their sales department and Quick Lane are wonderful. The Quick lane manager Michael is great and has always been a HUGE help. Their service department on Millbrook is a totally different story. Less than 2 weeks ago I was scheduled to take my 2015 Ford Explorer Sport for a Turbo, Downpipe, and oxygen sensor replacement after waiting over a month for an appointment. I was told after a compression check that the engine needed to be replaced for 20,500 dollars, then it was dropped to 16,500, for a vehicle only worth about 17 grand. As a former mechanic myself I did a compression check when I brought the car home. I then had the car towed to IFIX Fords in Fuquay and was told that what Capital told me couldn't be anything further from the truth and the engine did not need to be replaced. They have already ordered the necessary parts, did a compression check as Ford indicated that they did and are finishing up the repairs. The head mechanic at IFIX Ford noted that CAPTIAL FORD no longer has actual mechanics any longer and will only look to replace long blocks, short blocks, engines etc. because their techs are just that TECHS and not mechanics and not qualified to do any actual engine repairs. This isn't a slight on the Ford Product, just the Capital Ford Service department. ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OVER YOUR VEHICLE PRIOR TO PICK UP. THEY WILL DAMAGE STUFF ON YOUR CAR/SUV/Truck AND WONT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I picked up a different car that was under warranty and when I went to pick it up there were Target bags in the back seat that must've been left there when they went shopping. This was a Specialty Ford Performance Vehicle (Had to purchase it off the showroom floor). They tried to cover it up when they were confronted about it. I have had a damaged engine cover and scratches on the paint etc. They did replace the engine cover after I brought it to their attention, but the car was under full warranty and should've been replaced prior to me getting the vehicle back. The audacity to give someone their vehicle back with knowingly damage parts speaks to the character of this location. When you call about it they won't even return your calls. They will also make attempts and find ways to not honor their own warranty depending on the cost of the part. I'm Not speaking of some random "fly by night" warranty, but their own FORD warranty, and using extended warranty is even tougher, so please do your homework. Pathetic customer service. I've reached out to Corporate because this has become a way too common for theme them over the years. Again Love the sales and Quick Lane teams. They are great.
I'm saying something now because as I said this has been going on for years.

Made an appointment for a simple service at 3pm. Just needed an oil change and asked them to check brake pads. I was there for almost three hours waiting and it ended up costing $324 for an inspection, oil change and realignment. What’s the point of making an appointment if you end up waiting with walk-ins? The cost of services also seems pretty high for the work done, or maybe they keep it longer so they can charge more. Support your local auto repair shops don’t get services done here.
