bought a Lexus from this dealer on 6.17.23 they listed it as a Lexus with luxury package, only to find out it didn't have any luxury features as part of the package. It also had large damage on the car, including a huge scratch on the trunk and a damaged windshield. The dealership wouldn't do anything about the package, so they sold me a car different than the listing. Next the sent me to safelite to deal with the windshield. They ended up doing frame damage to the car while replacing the windshield and braking the auto wipers. Carmax refused to come pick upthe car after multiple attempts calling them on 6.20.23, 7.1.23, 7.14.23, to get my money back and fix the car and over 50 emails I have sent to different carmax folks at this center and corporate office. I want my money back for this car immediately, this shop won't even schedule a service to fix numerous issues and is a fraudulent business. they don't honor their money back guarantee nor do they honor their warranty services. They ignore all communications to try to screw over their customers. Do the right thing and refund me.

Waited a long time to have a car shipped from Charlotte after being told it would only be 2-4 days. There ended up being an issue with the title for the car. I received the runaround for it. Some older woman who worked up front at the welcome desk was no help. The final check out process was very nice but that was the only good thing about it.

I’ve bought at CarMax before but It was my first time selling a car there without also buying one. I was amazed at how easy the experience was, and was pleasantly surprised that the whole process didn’t take all afternoon like I was expecting. Everybody I worked with was very nice and professional. CarMax’s offer was fair and ended up being the amount that I was hoping to get (trade value). If I need to sell a car in the future I will definitely be back!

We had a really good experience buying our car here. Highly recommended Sammy and team who were very courteous and professional all through the process. The title wasn’t initially shipped with the car which we had ordered from a different location and they tracked it down right away and made sure we could take delivery as soon as possible. The whole purchase process was very smooth and the car was cleaned and detailed to look brand new when we took delivery . Overall very satisfied and recommended this CarMax location and Sammy if you are interested in buying a car .

Non stressful. Found a vehicle I liked online on Tuesday that was in Maryland. It was in Raleigh on Wednesday. They called me Thursday and said it was ready for pick up. I had very brief conversations with Carmax representatives and most of the business deal was taken care of online. All I did was came into the store, inspected the vehicle with a visual inspection, didn’t even test drive it although I could have, made the down payment and signed the purchase agreement and was on my way out of the door.Did notice a slight problem in the right wheel and noticed the vehicle could use a wheel alignment. Made a service appointment and everything was taken care of. Easiest and most non stressful vehicle purchase I’ve ever made. Thanks Carmax Team..

My experience with Carmax was effortless. When I arrived for my text drive, the car was practically ready. Mac/Saleman was every knowledgeable about the car I chose and with the purchasing process itself. After the test drive, he’d already gathered my paperwork and explained everything in detail. This is a 2nd car I’ve purchased from Carmax; I trust the dealership’s professionalism and the quality of cars available for purchase. If anyone is looking for a car, Carmax’s vast inventory will certainly provide multiple options at great prices! I absolutely love my car!!

My wife and I reserved a vehicle on September 23rd the vehicle was not ready for sale. We were on their email notification. When we were notified that the vehicle was available We went to dealership right away. When we arrived at the dealership the vehicle was reserved by someone else. The manager was not helpful at all excuse after excuse. I have purchased four vehicles from CarMax arriving today expecting to buy my fifth. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. I will not be Buying a vehicle from CarMax again. After today's episode they have lost a long time customer

As it should be. Trust that I’m not getting a lemon or something slipped past me (that would be discovered after a couple of weeks of driving, but so obvious on a test drive and a lay persons eye exam), a fair price, and no car dealership anxiety. Ok, the extended warranty pitch was a bit car salesman cringeworthy, but that was not aggressive, brief, minor. The overall experience was great. Unlike my last car for my other daughter last year at Leith—don't get me started.

Customer Service at CarMax is excellent, I was treated great in person and on the phone. CarMax is missing one star because of a possible issue with the truck I purchased. I already contacted the service department and once they take care of a possible problem or oversight you will receive 5 stars. Thank you for your kind service.

The experience with the business office was well deserved. The service department overlooked that my back windows did not work at all after signing the inspection checklist stating that the 125 point inspection resulted in no problems. Making sure the car is operating within NC specs is more important than the sale.

Best car buying experience ever. I did most of the work online. When I went to the store to pick it up, I was driving off the lot in 45 minutes. Everyone courteous, helpful, and best of all - NOT PUSHY. Never was asked to upgrade, add-on, extend.... so different from any other dealership or car lot.

Grateful for the team at Carmax!!! Daphne and Sammy we awesome and super helpful to work with. Pawla I’m the service department went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. They were very accommodating and went the extra mile. This level of customer service is not common and very much appreciated!!

I had an offer to sell my car, I went to the local Carmax on capital blvd in Raleigh. My appointment was at 7:00, I arrived at 7:00, but forgot my my wallet at home with my license. I asked to start the process, but was told I needed my License to start. I came back an hour later with my license , but I was told by a different CSR that I didn’t need the license to confirm the offer. So, I just wasted time, and gas for nothing.

Dishonest business.Got a quote online to sell low mileage car of my mother who does not drive anymore. We went in person to finalize the deal and had them look at car.Made us wait almost an hour.Then they came out and had us sign all the paperwork for $7400 And told us they would be back with the bank draft.30 minutes later a different person came and said the offer is $6,000, which I replied no we signed a deal for $7400.The original guy comes back and says, so we are going ahead with the $6000 Which we refused.An hour and a half of wasted time, with a senior citizen with mobility issues that took great effort to get her there.The kicker us that when I got home and looked at the title they had already filled out the back, notarized it etc,, So now we cannot even sell the car until we get a new copy of the title.Scammers
