I took my Bulova Marine Star here for a battery and crystal replacement. I was leaving for a wedding the next day and packed my watch in my back pack and upon arrival I found the crystal had just fallen out and the hands were crushed into the watch face. $65 for both services and a ruined watch

This place is awful! Went to get two of my watch batteries replaced and they both stopped working soon after. Brought them to fast fix upstairs and the guy said one of the watches had rust. The repairman at Dakota should have told me about the rust instead of just replacing the battery. The second watch battery fast fix replaced still works great! So the guy at Dakota definitely gave me a bad battery. Also the guy at Dakota told me my second watch battery cost more so I told him it’s fine, I don’t want it. He immediately lowered the price. Shady behavior

I was sitting at the counter for 5 minutes trying to get this kids attention while he’s playing games on his iPad with headphones in. White kid, lazy attitude, & seemed new. Anyways he “refunded” me and the money has still not shown up in my bank weeks later. Should have just kept the watch, not sure if he was stoned but do not understand what is so tricky about this. Please reach out for a phone number to get this issue resolved. Should have just kept the watch

PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! WATCH RUINED. Please do not bring your watch to this company if it is valuable or sentimental as it was in my case.I brought in a Kate spade watch for a SIMPLE battery replacement a week ago and the technician was quick to begin the work but after about 30 minutes of " working on the watch" I began to worry. He finished the work charged my card then handed me my watch. Immediately I noticed that the face of the watch was not sitting flat, the opal backing had several small cracks and there were specks of dirt or something between the face and crystal. I showed this to the technician and he went back to work on the watch again with no avail to fix the issues. I was asked to leave the watch for their manager to work on the next day. I had to call to follow up twice and when it was finally "finished" I picked up the watch in worse condition (bulging face, loose hands, more cracks and still dirt between the face and crystal). I requested a refund of the ~$40 battery replacement, as I was now going to have to take the watch to a specialist to repair the insides. To my dismay the watch is not repairable, there are now parts missing that can no longer be sourced and my watch is ruined.I wish their team would have been honest from the beginning that they ran into issues and could not work on my watch rather than making things worse and eventually destroying a very sentimental piece of jewelry.

I bought my watch here & they help with batteries the first year ( only lasts a yr?) after that they charge more than jewelers for replacement. four of the numbers have come loose from my watch face. They're now jiggling around under the crystal & getting in the way of hand movement so it doesn't keep reliable time. Their answer -have to send it off & you pay. This is a fail. How difficult can regluing the numbers be? Stay clear.

Ethan was really helpful in assisting me with swapping out my dead battery I ordered from Amazon. The Dakota instructions were not clear to indicate there are actually two batteries required to run to the watch. The counter had a good selection of watches to choose from. I will definitely be returning

I am a amateur watch collector, with that being said, I get all my time pieces sized at the Dakota Watch Co.

So glad to see the tall quiet kid back. I asked where he had been and he said he was managing the Triangle store and wasn't sure if he was back at Crabtree or not. I hope he is, he's my favorite salesperson for taking care of my batteries. Triangle is more of a hike for me and I'd rather go to a jewelry store than all the way over there.

No sales person fifteen minutes and counting. I have better things to do then wait for you to casually stroll into work.

Don't buy a watch from here. My watch came with a 1 year warranty. It started getting water inside somehow. It's "water resistant up to 100feet". Long story short they wouldn't fix it so I won't be back.

Purchased a replacement watch band for a Kare Spade watch. Very quick service and a reasonable price as well.

No one at counter to help. Waited 5 minutes for someone to come back. Computer was on with employees showing to be clocked in but no note left saying when they will return.
