Habitat Wake ReStore is a big store offering great values for small renovation projects like tile, carpet, and kitchen cabinets. It sells new and used furniture, building materials, appliances, and household goods. Shoppers can find great second-hand chairs, benches, and lots of stuff, mostly in good and clean condition. Many are pleasantly surprised by the fantastic treasures found, including vintage and antique items. The staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful. However, some prices are found to be too high on certain items, like appliances. Proceeds support Habitat for Humanity's mission to build affordable homes and divert items from landfills.
