“I can’t say anything bad about my experience. I bought a couch in 2022, which was supposed to arrive around August. It actually arrived in July, so I needed it to be stored. Long story short, it is May 2024 and they had no issue holding it for me. When I got the couch I barely remembered the design, but had no regrets. It is beautifully built, color and fabric are exactly what I envisioned, and it looked even better. To end this review, delivery was also spotless. They used booties and were polite and made sure I was happy with the position, changing it a couple of times. Super happy and would definitely recommend it.”

“Absolutely fabulous experience working with Gina and her team! We started with tiling and got the benefit of years of design experience! Gina and Cristian were amazing from start to finish! We ended up using them for countertops, cabinets, exterior stone and then with design and install of a custom fireplace. Every aspect of the process (including price) was incredible. I wish I had found them earlier in our build process as I could have saved a lot of time and effort! They answer calls, give advice, find alternatives when needed…and do it all with a smile! Building a house can be stressful at times…these guys make it much more enjoyable and fun! Would strongly recommend!!”
“I love my TV table! It's a made from a restored cabinet with new doors, custom metal pulls, and "dead stock" legs from the 60s. The mixed wood stains go really well with my home. The owner of Retro Modern is super friendly and she has such cute stuff. I'm excited to return! I It's on a gravel road in a warehouse, so it was a little daunting entering for the first time as I wasn't sure what awaited, but once I was in I really enjoyed viewing all the displays and immediately fell in love with the console. I'd been looking and looking for one at multiple thrift stores and none of them were quite right.”

“Best gift shop I could find in town especially for a tourist looking for something to take home that is North Carolinian. Plenty of nice gifts here of all sorts, pleasant atmosphere, kind service and tons of fun items to browse. Great deals here and there plus a great selection of books and toys for kids that are actually good for them. I'm glad I discovered a fun shop. I hope to be back.”
