John Chavis Memorial Park is a great and clean park with a breathtaking atmosphere. It offers tons to do with two playgrounds, one for younger children and one for older kids, though one area was under renovation. The amazing and versatile playground, spray park or splash pad, and a carousel requiring tickets provide fun for all age groups. The park includes a community center, gym, picnic areas with tables and umbrellas, and plenty of shaded areas. Events sometimes feature a market, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and games. Parking is not always the best, but the staff is patient and accommodating. It is a beautifully maintained, perfect spot for family fun and celebrations, providing an overall great experience.
The kids always love visiting this park! They're is something for all ages here!

The girls had so much fun with the kids that were there we stayed for 3 hours and they didn't want to leave them.

New mom to Raleigh and this was our first park it was great, clean inside and out. Enjoyed the carousel 🎠for $2. Staff was so patient and accommodating of my toddler's first experience and picking a horse to ride.
