No actual registers with human beings here. Only self-checkouts was a long line and you have to wait extra long if you want to use cash.

This is the worst Lowe’s. Every single time I keep waiting for curbside pickup at least 20 times and customer service is not able to help either and they just ask to stand in pick up counter.

Me and my mom Went shopping at this store’s location, and we have had the best customer service from Charles in the Lumber section. (Pro checkout) He has helped us with such grace and we found what we were looking for! Thank you so much! ☺️

I spend quite a bit of money with this company every year. Over $50,000. I had a $6,000 order delivered and obviously had some warped boards in it. And those boards also had black scud marks on them (from the moffit delivered or whatever it may be.). I went to go return these items at this location. Employee “My” and manager on duty at the time gave me and extremely difficult time. Over returning 2 pieces of lumber at a cost of $12/piece. I was lied about by employee “My” to the manager on duty at the time. Saying that I was cursing at her, and saying derogatory remarks. Which was a lie. While her manager proceeded to come around the counter and attempt to get close to my personal space. Telling me to “get out of his store.” While I have a camo vest wearing employee “My” saying that she thinks that the situation is comical and continues to snicker about the situation. This was a simple $190 return that turned into a much bigger issue than needed to be. This store needs to check its employees. Just because it’s close to closing time doesn’t mean to get to treat customers however you want to.

~Short version - Larry made sure my In-store experience was phenomenal. (Jump to ** for info on skeevy parking lot)
~Home Depot sucks - I’d sent my husband to get some specific bolts. Home Depot took him on a tour of the whole store (an hour) to look for them, and sold him the wrong thing (imperial, not metric).
I was at a work stoppage
~Lowes
I grabbed the original bolt and connecting piece and headed to Lowe’s, pissed off.
It was after dark. I was tired. The whole afternoon was wasted, and I was only out because Home Depot sucked.
Hardly any employees. I had to track one down, and ask them to page someone to that section of the store.
Larry appeared like a camouflaged angel.
He looked at my bolt and the one Home Depot sold my husband. He took them over to the bolt fitter and immediately understood what was wrong (Home Depot sold my husband the wrong bolt).
Then Larry went into fast forward mode, striding up and down the bolt section, muttering to himself (magic incantations? Prayer?) as he pulled out this and that.
Finally he found and exact match, and I practically burst into tears with relief.
And because I finally was talking to someone knowledgeable, I pulled up my Pinterest project folders and showed him X and Y and Z.
I was re-energized and we walked the store, compared this method or that, this tool or that. I took pics of bar codes and prices to match up with measurements later.
I accomplished so much during my sojourn with Larry!
Not just the bolt, but Pinterest projects that had been just ‘someday’ had been moved much further along.
Once I had taken the time to gather information and actually hold and compare various components; it’s now just taking measurements, buying pieces and screwing things together.
I asked Larry for permission to take his photo and sing his praises (la la la), and now have done so.
**Missing Star - skeevy, uncomfortable, encounter with random stranger
After I checked out, I went and sat in my car to take some quick notes.
From the thick darkness, a man appeared and knocked on the glass right by my face.
I cracked my window a half-inch, just in case this was about a flat tire or dead headlight.
Said he was ‘Chef J’. Someone ‘had stolen my phone and taken all my money out of the bank’. He needed money to send to his son for school.
He even showed me he was wearing a chef jacket with ‘Chef J’ embroidered on it. Which was supposed to prove …?
As he was leading up to asking me for help, I politely told him, ‘no’ and rolled up my window. Then I drove off ASAP.
I didn’t know how he would react to being refused.
I don’t blame Lowes for that encounter. But it should be noted. It’s unlikely I’ll go there after dark, alone.

Time for new toilet seats. This time I got plastic instead of wood. The sales associate provided some guidance on all the options.

Doesn’t matter how far I am from this store I always call GENE ANDERSON at pro desk. He makes my job easier every time.. he goes out of his way to hell figure out what I need. . Treat slows like his own business I wouldn’t shop at Lowe’s if it wasn’t for him.. thanks
