The Carmichael Recreation Center is a world-class gym facility, though it can get quite crowded with students during peak hours due to its location on NC State's Central Campus. The center is clean and offers a good place to work out, swim, and play indoor sports, though it lacks adequate sports equipment like rackets and bats. The center has a wide range of equipment and facilities, including climbing, basketball, table tennis, and squash ball.
One of the best gyms around, truely world class. The only problem is that it is packed with students as it's on NC State's Central Campus. Be prepared for a crowd during peak hours.
