I went in to look at, try on and buy a garmin fenix 8 watch. I was able to find the watch display. (very small tucked under the stairs) You can't even pick up the watch from the display. The cage under the display was completely empty. This particular watch had its price written on a tiny chalkboard that looked like it had been erased a bunch. Also the price was the highest I had seen anywhere. The little chalkboard thing didn't sit well with me. Also looked at some rain jackets. Also very high-end. Nice stuff but out of my budget for my use.

Great customer experience at REI in North Hills Raleigh. My recent experiences have been great. Today Tyler and Mike were very helpful. I had a return and purchased new cycling shoes.

Shannon was really nice and very helpful. Though this store didn’t have the size of shoes in a color I wanted, she helped choosing the right size using different color, and directed me to other REI stores with availability. So impressed with REI’s customer service and highly appreciate her help!

I love the store and REI. However, Tyler made my return experience less than stellar. Even after a couple of days later, I find myself bothered by the whole interaction. I purchased a really nice, expensive tent and after setting it up in the yard, decided we didn't like the bright colors. I ordered a darker color from the website and returned the bright one to the store. Tyler handled the whole return incredulously and at times seemed as if he wasn't going to accept the return. It was very off putting. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but two days later I'm still bothered by his hesitation to be accept the return and the way he interacted with me about the return. I hope he has a better day with the next customer.

Great outdoor outfitters store, with awesome customer service personnel experience. I am a member, but I don't find myself shopping this great store with awesome outdoor activities selections. They offer camping supplies as we'll as clothing and cycling products. I was there after visiting another store in the same location and found exactly what I needed in a collapsible dog water bowl.

This location has questionable employees. I want a pair of Clifton 9's and the pair the employee gave me were clearly worn enough in the store to where I noticed that. She seemed taken aback that I was asking for a pair no one has put their feet in. Am I being unreasonable as an REI member? Never experienced that at any REI anywhere in the country. She could've offered to ship an unworn pair to my house, instead she let me leave the store

Low selection and literally insane policies. I just spent $656 on two winter coats wasn’t allowed a bag or hangers to help me to them carry the half mile to my car... seriously?!

Rei is great store. If you're camping and outdoors hiking anything to do with the outdoors. They've got it with good knowledgeable people. This is a good store at a good location right off of 440
