“I shop here often. Around twice a week. The staff are always friendly & helpful. I have even special ordered cases of food like skinny pop pop corn from them because often they are out or there is only 1 bag left on the shelf.
The smaller size store compared to the nearby large Walmart has a great selection & I can get what I want quickly as well as get discounts with my MVP card. Wal-Mart shopping is exhausting as it feels like I have to walk miles from the parking lot to get what I want & then get out. I highly recommend shopping at Food Lion for your grocery needs.”

“This was an absolutely awesome experience! The lady at the front desk and a young man from the back helped us make our selection and even went through the entire freezer trying to help us pick out the prettiest cuts of country ham and thick sliced bacon. This was a trip I have been looking forward to for a while because you can't buy Thomas Brothers Country Ham in eastern North Carolina? So my father in law and I decided to go to the plant and I'm so glad we did it was a fun day trip for both of us and we left there with over $100 worth of pork products and 2 t-shirts!Thanks for the help and making our day a memorable experience”

“They have a wide variety of selections from bread, to bread, hushpuppie, and pancake mixes, grits, pimento cheese, ashe cheese, hoop cheese, fresh sausage, and great deals on country ham. They also have coffee, syrups and different flavorings and well as nehi drinks and clothing. If you follow their Facebook page they will be sure to lure you in with those videos, they even make samples! As an added bonus they're all so friendly.”
