“This place is as good as it gets when getting unloaded at a receiver it's always in n out. There is a small lumper fee so have come checks or cash. You can park overnight and there are facilities close by. No restrooms after hrs. They also offer truck parking long term if for any reason you may need that. I been coming here for years never has one issue ever easy to deal with and very respectful Always thank you guys for being like that much appreciated.”

I used to work for this company for 11 years and know atleast that part. The store was tidy and the employees were polite. As for my personal service with my transaction... perfect and friendly she was. She told me her name and I only asked because I admired her genuine personality. “I love Harris Teeter! The store is very nice clean and the staff in my experience are all very kind and well informed. Most important though is the benefits you get by simply using your Vic card (which is just they're loyalty card just ask the person at the register for it and download the app ASAP). Use it every time you check out You will earn points for every dollar spent that can be used to save up to $1 per gallon in gas at the Harris teeter gas station right next door to the grocery store itself. When you download the Harris teeter app you can clip coupons to your Vic card and save even more money. Every Friday you can clip a coupon that will earn you 4x the points for your gas savings. They also normally have the best deals on drinks like buy 2 get 3 free. Some other items can be more expensive there but for me as a delivery driver the gas savings make it worth it by far. Not everything is more expensive and like I said they do have good deals most of the time on lots of things but especially their drinks. A very highly recommend shopping at Harris Teeter. Harris Teeter is the best they also have a lot of items that other stores do not have.”

“Heard about this place on social media, and then it was reinforced by a North Carolina native whose dad and his buddies regularly make trips from Raleigh just to stock up on their homemade food items. That was all the recommendation I needed.
I made a quick stop while driving home from Atlanta to Norfolk with very limited cooler space and grabbed some chicken salad, pimento cheese, spicy pickled quail eggs, and mild sausage.
Everything was outstanding. I actually waited to write this review until I had tried everything, and not a single item disappointed. The sausage was fun to throw on the grill and was absolutely fantastic. It wasn't greasy at all, had a hearty texture, and was packed with flavor. Honestly, I could have eaten the entire package myself.
The chicken salad was an absolute hit with everyone who tried it. I loved that it was simple, fresh, and made with recognizable ingredients. It was being restocked while I was there, and I knew it had to be good when people were grabbing containers from both sides of the employee before she could even get them into the cooler. My only mistake was buying just a pint.
The pimento cheese was also excellent, and that's saying something because I'm not usually a big pimento cheese person. The spicy quail eggs had great pickle flavor with plenty of heat.
Next time, I plan to try more of their pickled items, homemade spices, sauces, and jams. I'm especially looking forward to getting their hot sausage and country sausage on a future trip. This place definitely lived up to the hype, and I'll be making it a pretty regular stop whenever I'm passing through the area.
Oh. I also want to try some of their prepared food like chicken and dumplings which I heard was a traditional southern style of the dish! Will update!”
