The room does not even look like it was cleaned. There was popcorn under the bed dirt all over the floor. The shower doors were dirty, and there was a spot of blood on a hand towel. The front desk attendant was MIA for the longest time. I would never stay here again.

This hotel is better than our previous hotel. I will say it’s an upgrade. But they need to put bacon on their breakfast menu/table. It’s common to have bacon ?.Food & drinks: For breakfast they should have bacon. It’s a very traditional dish for breakfast. Obviously. Bring bacon on to the breakfast table.

I was excited to stay here as my family’s halfway point on our vacation. It was peaceful at first, but soon we had a lady on our floor threaten to shot our dog after we - as a nice gesture, knowing that others can be frightened of dogs - explained he was a friendly dog when we’re trying to go back to our room. She continued to issue out threats and harassed me while I went to the front desk. I used the Hilton app as a Hilton member to book this room, and it gave me the option to select my room - I even clicked that we were traveling with a dog. There’s no indication that dogs are only for the 2nd floor and we happened to pick a room on the 5th floor. The help desk was of no help, he did not want to deal with the situation even though the lady stalked me to the elevator and kept insulting me. I even suggested he switch out our room since it seemed like a problem - but he said he didn’t even want to bother with it. Now I am walking on eggshells that a hotel allowed for this lady to continue to be here after her threats. Also the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Shower wasn’t up to clean standards. It had hair in it.

I initially saw a four star hotel that had Hilton in the name but I couldn't get directions so I just typed in tru and it directed me to this hotel so it was actually a two star hotel for a 2 star hotel this was very nice very very clean. The room was very Spartan had no coffee or tea maker I had to go to the lobby to get my tea like I had before I go to bed and the tea that was available in the lobby was tepid but when I got there they gave me a bag with two orders and a bag of popcorn which is very nice The mattress was very disappointing you basically had a platform bed with just a mattress no box spring so it was a very stiff sleep hence why I need the tea that help me sleep. Very nice staff and the breakfast was very good in the morning. The hardwood floor in the room was like I was at a red tree but unlike the red tree this hotel was very clean very quiet.

Room was fine. But not as clean as you'd expect from a hilton brand hotel. Bed sheets had hair and dirt on them, luckily i had my own pillow and blanket. Staff was friendly, the lobby was spacious and the market area had plenty of quick options. Breakfast was not what your expect from a hilton either though, powder mixed eggs, and frozen sausge patties... left early before the 12pm check out and found a nice spot 5 min away to relax and eat before hopping back on the highway. Location was very convenient.

First room was dirty and had a biohazzard in the bathroom. Second room was not as dirty but still dusty and AC was as loud as a jet engine. Obviously lost my future business. It's ashamed really because TRUs are normally good and my "go-to".

The Tru Team was friendly and courteous. The lobby and rooms were perfectly clean. The stay was positively memorable!

Tru by Hilton are always our “go-to” hotels when we bring our dogs. They are affordable, reliable, and clean. The breakfast is always delicious! Their pancake machine make hot pancakes on demand. They are always welcoming of our dogs, which is so hard to find on road trips.Rooms: Always clean! I love they have hard wood floors, not rugs. Most hotels have rugs and in the dog friendly accommodations the rug are gross. The floor is always clean and the beds are so comfy!Food & drinks: Breakfast is GREAT! And the staff putting together the breakfast is so kind and helpful. There is an Outback Steak house across from the hotel, which is convenient to walk to for lunch or dinner.

The rooms are spartan. No closet. No dresser. All there is are wall hooks for your clothes! That’s really tacky. Good thing I had 2 queen beds so I could lay out my clothes on the other bed. For a Hilton it was a big disappointment. The breakfast buffet was average: the usual runny eggs, overheated bacon, etc.

Walked in and no one was at the desk. A girl in the breakfast area looked up at us, kept talking on the phone and came over to the desk. She made sure to finish her conversation with her boyfriend before acknowledging us and checking us in. Later that night, I came back to the hotel with to-go food and asked the same girl if there was any salt and pepper around since the restaurant left it out. She said 'no' and went back to her phone. The next morning, I discovered there was an entire container of salt and pepper packets five feet from the reception desk behind an unlocked pull-down screen. She literally could have just and I'd have figured out. Don't stay here, they're rude and lazy and not up to the Hilton brand.

Nice overnight stay. Fairly clean...although the lobby needed refreshing. Service was good.We had hoped to go swimming...but the pool looked dirty and whoever decided that yellow tile around the edge of the pool must have been nuts. Looking down at the pool it looks like there's a ring of pee all around nasty!

Staff was rude and not accommodating. Hotel space is nice ( new and modern) but the room had no closet space for luggage and no microwave. Location is perfect, central to surrounding stores and where I needed to be. I'm a Hilton Honors member and this staff made me not want to stay with Hilton anywhere anymore.

Love Tru by Hilton for overnight stays, but this one was a little rough. Starting with not receiving a confirmation of the reservation - which ended up being no problem when we arrived (thankfully).Front desk seemed bothered to stop vaping in the corner of the lobby to greet us upon arrival. All other staff was super friendly. There was no shampoo in the shower, which would have been fine if we hadn't expected it to be there. Also, live TV never worked on our TV - we were told it has issues (but the lobby was working and other guests said they were able to watch live TV in their rooms). Front desk was very friendly this morning when we checked out (different employee than when we checked in).All in all...fine for a one night stay but wouldn't choose Tru in Rocky Mount - we'd just stop a little south on I-95 and stay at the one in Fayetteville (which was a 200% better experience).

Absolutely amazing front desk service. Didn’t get the man’s name , but he was working night Sept 1 . We had reserved a room at another motel but had to change last minute , we called and he was able to get a room last minute for us . Very nice even though it was busy. Room was clean !!!Noteworthy details: Friendly staff

The hotel was amazing, staff was excellent. We arrived ed right after a tornado hit. The power had just come back on but the keys to unlock the doors did not work. They had personnel ready to assist each guest to their rooms to let them in with a key. When the system was up and running they brought us our key cards. Way to go with planning and meeting the needs of in coming guests. All the staff including the housekeepers were excellent.
