“Traveling from Maine to Florida we had a breakdown about 4:30 in the afternoon 20 miles north of Rocky Mount,NC. Called AAA because they have your back, right. I don't normally pull a trailer but had one this trip. Offered to pay for trailer coverage on phone but they couldn't do that...I'm finished with AAA after 12 years and one call they say no can help. J & J towing robbed us at $450 for a 20 mile tow but he did take us to the local Dodge dealer where we spent the night in our Sprinter Van at 34 degrees. When the dealership opened our luck changed. Everyone there was very nice and helpful and set us up in their employee conference lounge and stopped by to see if we needed anything. One of the ladies checked on motels for us when service advised we would be there for a few days as parts needed to be ordered. Lunch time that day we offered the buy the dealership pizza for lunch, they said thanks but no. They provided us with a car to go to lunch and also offered us a car to go to the motel, we declined and they drove us to the motel and picked us up when we requested. A sign in the employee area: Things money can't buy, 1-manners, 2-morals, 3-respect, 4-character, 5-common sense, 6-trust, 7-patience, 8-class, 9-integrity, 10-love. This was not a BS sign as all treated us that way...who does that especially a car dealer. I'm 79 and have bought many vehicles at many dealerships and I can attest that these guys are a number of notches above any dealership I've ever been in. “So, driving home to Elizabeth City when my trusty honda went down for the count. Luckily I was close to Davenport Auto Park so I pulled into the honda repair center. They had an opening and took me right in. It was a difficult problem to diagnose but they did find it and fix it. They knew I was from out of town so they put their best guy on it until he fixed it. It wasn't easy. If you want your automobile fixed go to Davenport and see Wes Jeffries. Thank you so very much Davenport Auto Park!!!”
