“I bought a used Prius here last year and I am very happy with it. Great customer service and quality. I was hesitant at first, because as a woman you never know who's trying to trick you, and as an anxious person my nerves were absolutely shot after researching so many things on CarGurus for the preceding month. But unlike anyone else I'd spoken to, Tom actually gave me practical advice - I was nervous about the original battery, but he showed me a great service that can fix that for relatively cheap should the battery go out soon. (It has yet to do so.) He also knew what bank would give me a loan on a car this old. I really appreciate that extra mile to help guide me since I'm not a car expert, just someone who has to drive to get to work!
When I picked up the car unfortunately there were some problems that needed to be fixed, I drove about 15 minutes off the lot and then all the dashboard lights came on. There was also a panel on the bottom of the car that was hanging off and scraping the pavement. Of course I nearly had a heart attack thinking I'd just wasted $7000 on a lemon, but I called and they towed the car back to the lot and fixed everything for me at no extra charge.
Tom was clearly apologetic, I felt that he was as horrified as I was and just wanted to make it right, and he did. One year later and I've had no other issues. It was just bad timing, a battery module had crapped out and you know Priuses if one tiny thing is wrong, the car warns you like it's Armageddon. Something that can happen with old cars! From what I hear not everyone has the integrity to fix it like that for free. Overall regardless of the hiccup it was a great experience and I would get my next car here!”
