“This is definitely a throwback Main Street hardware store! Not very many of these places survive when a large chain like ACE comes to town. Actually there is one in this small, beautiful town! It's a testament to the local home folks for supporting their hometown businesses! I went in there looking for some cloth hand towels. The very kind and helpful lady in charge told me they didn't have any. That was a bit of a surprise to me because they seemed to have an abundance of everything! Not only hardware but also a huge selection of yard art and other display pieces. Like I said; this place is most definitely a throwback in time and its unusual! Even though they didn't have what I needed ; I loved the experience! Any person my age who remembers the way things were in the past should visit not only this place but the entire Main Street of Rutherfordton, N.C. ! It's a thriving small town with much to offer.”
