You may save a few bucks somewhere else, but that sometimes has trade offs. I'll continue going here for oil changes, inspections and service.”
“Awesome service. I had some issues going on with steering and alignment after coilover installation. I took my car to 2 different big name companies to have this issue fixed. One told me my tie rod ends were maxed out and car couldn't be alignment. 2nd place told me rack and pinion or steering column would have to be pulled and that would be 260 bucks. No thank you. I knew that wasn't the issue. I called Lemlys Automotive and phone was answered with no wait. I explained my issue and Mr Lemly stopped what he was working on and talked to me over the phone. He told me bring the car 1st thing the next morning and I did just that. Lord am I glad I took it to him. He took care of my issue and also checked all coilovers and they were all uneven. He took the time to even them out for me and made sure my car was safe before sat back in the driver seat. Everyone there was friendly and respectful. I will be definitely taking my car to him from this day forward. Thank you all at Lemlys Automotive for taking care of my car today.”

“I’ve been going to this place for over 12 years and I’m very pleased with their service. Today was even a good experience. I took my Slingshot to get inspected. It was a little cold this morning so I had on my leather riding gloves. Went to the tag place and remembered that I left my gloves. Wasn’t gone for 7 minutes and my gloves weren’t on the table where I left them. There’s a thief in the building. When my customers came to my store, left anything, it would be there when they returned. Jeremy is an excellent guy but he needs to reevaluate his employees”
“Took my 2019 Dodge 2500 had some clicking noise when I hit the gas and brake and I was ready for new hub bearings, Ball joints, tie rod’s and new shocks and he called me and said all of that is good no issues at all it’s solid.Come to find out the internals of my drive shaft was moving causing the clicking noise. Very honest mechanic and that’s exactly what was wrong. He could have made good money lying to me like dodge did saying I needed new bearings and blah blah blah at a total of $4897.54 like Dodge quoted me.He does my inspections every year and he now does my oil changes and whatever else I need if he does that type of work needed. Good guy and good work. Highly recommended”
“I called this place on a whim when my Honda Odyssey broke down off exit 81 Long Ferry Rd in Spencer, NC. at the Handy Hugo. I got out and checked and realized it was my CV axle on the driver's side was broke. So I called this place and got a hold of Dwayne the owner and he was absolutely phenomenal to deal with. He understood the urgency of my issue and got my vehicle in right away. I had a CV axle in the vehicle but it was for the wrong side so Dwayne got me one right away had it put on and done within no time. He's a great mechanic and does awesome work and I'm so glad that I found him and will continue to use him for all my car issues. If your looking for a good honest mechanic who does quality work for a fair price then Dwayne is your guy! I highly recommend Dwayne for all your car needs and you won't be disappointed either!!!”
“As many people who have had a Subaru that is no longer under warranty have learned, finding a good, honest, and knowledable Subaru machanic is difficult to find. I had called a few of the local automotive repairs shops to ask about replacing the transaxel of my 2005 Outback, and most of the shops I spoke to were hesitant about working on Subarus.
I called a shop in Concord, NC and they recommended that I call Higgins Automotive in Salisbury, NC. Kevin, the owner, answered the phone and sounded very knowledgable and he quoted a reasonable price for the repair. After doing a little research on the net for this shop, I decided to make an appointment for the repair. I had AAA tow the car to them.
When I got there, I was amazed at how many used Subarus they have in their lot. It was a sure sign that they know Subarus. I found out that this is a father/daughter team that works on the cars. My car was towed in on a Thursday afternoon and the car was repaired and ready for the highway the following afternoon!
Kevin showed me all the parts that were replaced, wheel bearings, transaxel, brake pad and rotor. The car now runs down the highway very smothly and it passed the 95 MPH test, no problem.
As a Subaru owner, I can certainly recomend to use Higgins Automotive, as I know when my car needs any more repairs, this is the shop that I will be going to.”

He had to find an airbox for us at a salvage yard and while he quoted us a new one ($400 more) he told us when he found a good used one because the new ones were on backorder. We probably would have never known if he hadn't been honest. A+ service and response. We will be going back in the future.”
“First, we are traveling full-time in our RV. We called ahead knowing we would be in Salisbury North Carolina for a graduation. They said no problem will even get you in at 9 AM.
Got us in promptly, took only about an hour, we got a diesel oil change, filters, they even topped off our def fluid, (for free)
The prices here were very, very reasonable, definitely less than we would’ve paid back in Phoenix.
Everybody there was very pleasant, easy to work with, and messaged as soon as the work was done. Would definitely recommend.”

We have used so many dealers/service providers from Charlotte to Concord/Huntersville & Mooresville over the past decade… and this place is by far and away the best consistent experience for us. They service our vehicles in a timely manner, they communicate great. They make our experience pleasant & comfortable. Their shuttle service is such a nice added bonus! All the employees are so nice, the manager is great! I am so grateful I found them. We will always trust our cars to come here for maintenance & repairs. Great spot!!”
