La Cumplidora is one of the larger Mexican markets in central NC and the oldest in Sanford, widely considered the best supermarket in Lee county. It offers a vast selection and a huge variety of authentic products, from dairy to packaged Latino foods, meats, snacks, and candies, including many items not found in local American supermarkets. The well-stocked butcher shop is noted for its excellent traditional and social-media-fashionable cuts of beef. The bakery is highly praised for its bread, donuts, and cornbread. While some note the store needs cleaning and that prices are high, the customer service is described as exquisite, with very helpful and friendly employees. It is a place of wide flavors worth a visit for specific Mexican ingredients.

There was a strong rotten meat smell throughout the store and their selection felt broad but restricted. I can see though why it would work for most families. For us, they did not have any of the items we were needing.
