This group of Dentists and staff is a blessing they understood my situation and offered to how to fix my situation. Dr.Frazer inner stood my situation in its fullest. He will be noticing me as soon as my test results come back. He is a very understanding doctor and so was my nurse. I am excited to hear what he can recommend for me. The Aspen Dental office is truly concerned and willing to help any way they can.

Although the staff here is definitely kind and professional, what I do not find acceptable is the amount of times that my wife and I have had to reschedule our appointments due to either an overflow of patients and or because they do not have scheduled Hygienists staffed appropriately. I had an appointment for the month of December 2023, and they had to reschedule a routine cleaning over four months later (April of 2024). This has happened to both my wife and I, this lack of foresight is quite unacceptable. I will definately be taking my business to a location that has sufficient staff, and is equipped to service their patients in a timely manner.Edit: 12/28/23 I am here to add to my previous review. I am delighted to say that the staff (shout out to Jada at the front desk area) was very helpful in rescheduling my appointment after reading the review. I am happy to say that they definitely listened to their patients and made sure that I was satisfied with the changes. I am glad that there are still companies that value customers needs and are able and willing to fix issues when they arise. I just had my filling today and the staff were very friendly and professional.

I am an anxious person especially when it comes to drilling and cleaning. Well, this is my third visit and every single visit is amazingly great! The dentist is so patient, & I'm the type of patient that asks lots of questions. He explains everything and is painless! The dental hygienists are state of the art in their technical skills and full of best practice ideas on keeping your teeth clean and pretty. And the admin staff is better than any office group I've ever dealt with. Out of 100, this dental practice scores 200!!!!

Every time I visit, I receive a friendly greeting. The staff takes the time to insure that whatever procedure I am having done is explained to me. After the procedure, I am asked if I am satisfied. Everyone is very professional and I am never disappointed.

Everyone at Aspen in Shallotte, NC were very professional and accommodating. I have anxiety issues and all that were involved were very special people. Dr. Chang really understands what dentistry is all about. Kudos to the whole team!I'm sure my return visits will be just as special.

Hands down best experience I've ever had at a the dentist!! From the time I walked in the door everyone was very welcoming and friendly! Doctor was very informative she explained everything very well and came up with a great plan to fix my smile!! They got me in there within a hour of me calling for the first time told them I had a broken tooth bothering me so they got me back there the same afternoon. They numbed my gums then gave me a shot came back to make sure I couldn't feel anything and she pulled it in less than a minute I've never had a tooth come out so smoothly I was very impressed!! I haven't had my insurance long enough and they offered me in house dental insurance and prices were great!! Aspen dental will definitely be my go to dentist from now on!! Thank you to everyone up there!!!

Went in as a new patient appointment that had been scheduled 2 weeks in advance. Really just wanted to get a cleaning but they require a “consult” first. Waited 45 minutes before they took me back for X-rays. The hygienist came in and started talking so fast about a “deep clean” before the doctor even evaluated my X-rays. Was there 2 hours and never saw the doctor.

Dr was very nice but account manager would not honor advertised 20% discount nor would she honor prices listed on line for service.Big overcharge so I walked out. Account manager was not even aware of prices listed on line? Need to find another office who honors listed prices and allowable discounts.

I was called to come in today for my new cap . But when I got there they called me by mistake, the girl that I spoke with apologized for for the call and said she made a mistake. I have to say she was so sorry and explained what happened I left there feeling bad for her . I have always had great service, everyone makes a mistake. She is only human! Love Aspen Dental!

The online booking was easy and I got an appointment within like a day for my first visit. No, my insurance would not be acceptable because all the "seats" are already taken. The lady on the phone, Jayden, was the most helpful person from a dentist office around Myrtle Beach who I have talked to in 2 years. Jayden explained insurance plus the care at Aspen and a lot of other things. I decided to take the 36 minute drive (which became an hour drive) to the office). The office is easy to find and well-marked from the road. Parking was also ample.Walked in, and the waiting area was full, and there were no signs to wait at the counter or check in paper to sign, so I sat down in one of the few seats left. The receptionist got off the phone then helped some other people who walked in, then I walked up. She handed me a tablet to fill out (I like this go green mentality). I had to ask if I was supposed to take it to my seat. There wasn't much to fill out, so not a hassle there.I was seen pretty quickly which was nice because I underestimated the drive from Myrtle Beach and was 5 minutes late. The xray part was not the greatest, but I have nothing to compare it to, so it could have been the greatest, in all fairness. The technician was sweet and kind and caring. I really liked her attitude. She even gave me advice about my daughter who is seeking a career somewhere. Some of the xrays hurt but I got over that. Those things they put in your mouth look hideous and what can you expect. The machine did not seem like it did what it was meant to do, rotating around me, and I mentioned that, but everyone seemed content anyway that the pictures came out ok. Oh, before they adjusted the machine for me to get in, they told me to get in and I hit my head; that didn't make my day, and they said they were sorry. I said thanks, but I still hit my head. After hitting my head, there were 3 people in the room telling me how to stand which was frustrating. I am not sure how productive it is to have 3 people giving you orders at once. So whatever. Then it was time to go to a room. They cleaned the room first. There was talk about some water leaking onto the floor, and I thought, oh great. I would think you shut off a room with a problem like that since someone can slip and fall.So in the room, the dentist came in first which is unusual. I liked that. He did his tests and shared results with me.Then the hygenist came in and did some painful stuff and dictated some numbers to a machine that was not working very well for her. Then it was explained to me what I needed to have done as far as cleanings, and they took me up front. This part felt like buying a used car, to be honest. I really did not like it, and the person handling that part of it could not answer some of my questions at first so the hygenist had to be brought back up to the counter and seemed exasperated that she had to be there. Great feeling for me when I'm being asked to pay thousands of dollars up front for services I won't get for weeks. I finally procured the information about the expenses that I was trying to get from the counter agent and decided to go to my referral appointment (and check around for lower prices) before booking an appointment for over 1k for an out of pocket cleaning procedure. I got my papers and left. So, I don't have much to compare this experience to. I will definitely do a review when I go to the referral appointment about a procedure the dentist said I need to have. There were a few little touches that could have gone better... from the head banging that could have been prevented to the Halloween Horror food show that was blasting on the tv in the patient room (come on, really, who wants to see that at a dentist office?) I had to ask to change the channel. And, I'm an animal activist. And of course the abyssmal checkout that, like I said, felt like being at a used car dealership. UGH. It wasn't a waste of time, but several thousand dollars to pay up front for service and the only real "help" being "oh w
