They’re pretty friendly and helpful, but I just sat in the drive thru line for an hour, no exaggeration. This CVS is extremely slow, but this was the worst time yet. Probably switching to a different pharmacy after this.

Do not use this pharmacy unless you are prepared to be extremely frustrated. I was left 2 messages to pick up prescription only to get there to find out it wasn't ready for pick up. In fact they hadn't even ordered it. Called several times only to be able to leave messages and never to have them returned. I will never use this location again!!!!!!!! Extremely Dissatisfied.

Very nice employees in the pharmacy. They are over worked and short staffed. They all still have a smile on their face and very helpful.

Pharmacy is closed today as it was yesterday.
No message when store will open. If you check the store website it indicates the pharmacy is open……..
Very poor customer consideration here.

Hit or miss. More miss than hit. Waited 3 weeks for Dexcom blood sugar sensors for some reason. Told me Monday it was in. Went to pick up sat and they had canceled my order without telling me. Essentially they gave them to someone else. I had to reorder them. If it takes another 3 weeks this will be the most unsat experience I’ve ever had. Diabetes Is much harder to manage without these. Unfortunately my insurance makes me use CVS. I’m a firm believer that had insurance companies not forced this CVS would be out of business. At least this poorly managed one in Shallotte would be.

The pharmacist at this CVS thinks they are Dr's. Just because they don't have but 19 pills of my medicine for a month they try to give you some other kind. L Gerald is no dr. it is against the law for a pharmacist to change what the dr has ordered down to the manufacturer. Everyone better watch out for this pharmacy better open your medicine there because if he fills it he will change it! If this was the first time I wouldn't say anything,but it is every month he does this. I have enough proof for a lawsuit!

Sun: I need 7 days of 2 RX I left at home. “We’ll send request to your Dr. now. Request sent.”
Mon: I send note to Dr via MyChart, “Pls check on 7 days replacement request for these 2 Rx from Shallotte CVS”
Tue from Dr: “No request was sent to us. We’ve sent 2 refills to Shallotte CVS“
Wed CVS: “We’ve no record of any request either way. Ask Dr to phone in Rx directly.”
Wed Dr. “We have spoken w/Pharmacist at Shallotte CVS. Should be done within the hour.”
Thr CVS app: “Working on it. “
Friday at CVS I pick up the RXs about 3 PM.
Friday 9:24 PM text from CVS: Your 2 Rxs are ready for pickup.
Duh.

Don’t go here if you’re planning on purchasing anything related to your reproductive health because they have ALL OF IT locked up. Absolutely disgusting that during a time where women are already having to fight for their reproductive rights that we can’t even get the products we need to take care of our reproductive system right now. Ever thought that women maybe don’t want to share that information with a complete stranger? And yes, I did call support and all they said was “Okay” and sent me straight to the survey.
