Good luck getting in this store.
Tried to stop there twice in the last 4 days, and both times the doors are locked. Sun May 4th at 1:30 pm, and today May 7th at 10:20 am.
No sign saying why, just the one that says open every day 8am till 10pm.
Don't understand it.
When I lived in this area in 2022 there was never a time it wasn't open during posted operating hours.
Guess it's time for new management, not that I will ever stop at this location again...

There is always stock in the aisles, that needs to be put up. They need more employees. Too much work for one of two people. They're always busy and working very hard.

Had a wide selection of prepaid mobile phone refill cards. Appeared to have every carrier. Except T-mobile, the one I volunteered to pick up for a neighbor. But an employee, Jill, was very helpful, coming from the register to help me look, hoping i had overlooked it.

Pretty clean, especially when compared to others where the aisles are very cluttered with stock. It’s a decent size with a lot of variety. It’s close to our beach place here and we go for something we need at least once per trip. Staff is fairly friendly.

This store should be closed, two trash cans outside overflowing with garbage and the inside isn’t much better. The shelves are nearly empty yet stacks of merchandise in bins and boxes in every aisle. Nearly impossible to walk through the store. Shame on Dollar General for allowing this. If you’re unable to staff appropriately, close the store.

Little messy inside but they have what I was looking for.A customer asked if I was going to clean up the streets with the broom I bought that was probably made in China.....Think about that for a few minutes.That'd be like asking if our current government will stop the flow of illegal immigrants storming in the borders.Lol.Think about that.

Civic Town off Holden Beach road has friendly staff. They are working understaffed and long hours. Still the store looks great. Thank you for working! While many are not.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The staff really makes u feel welcomed here. The place is always clean and the store is constantly being stock. This dollar general has been the cleanest, best stocked, friendly store I've been at.

Great location, light traffic, large parking lot. Close to Ocean Isle Beach. SW Brunswick county, locals/Summer tourist can save themselves some extra time and traffic by not having to drive all the way into the town of Shallotte for the basics, food, hygiene, otc meds, leisure clothing, beer/wine, etc. Friendly employees, very clean
