Diagnosed with covid this morning, went to pick up meds. Asked for mask or hand sanitizer or wipes, they all out and suggested I buy them. Had other medications to pick up and they said I would have to wait 1 day for them to be available. I will be sick in bed by that time. My insurance, my doctor, the manager, the district manager all told the pharmacist it was ok to give me the meds 1 day early. She wouldn’t budge. She is either incompetent or discriminatory against me. Other Walgreens are telling me they give out meds in special circumstances 2 or 3 days early. I suppose a life threatening illness like Covid is run of the mill there and I should be expected to take my fever of 100+ and make a special trip so the pharmacist can feel like Miss big person. I will be looking for another pharmacy after being with Walgreens for years.

I only use this pharmacy because it’s discounted with my work benefits. This location has sent me text updates and also confirmed by phone that a medication had been filled prior to it actually being filled several times. I’ve wasted a ton of time waiting in a long line only to have to wait “another 15 minutes” at the window for something I was told had been ready. Do not recommend.

This is worse pharmacy to get prescriptions. They are closed and I need the prescription for pain because I had a tooth pulled. I was not able to sleep because of such pain.

I would not advise anyone to use this pharmacy. They are not helpful and are extremely rude. Thinking and math and not their strong suits. They close indiscriminately when they should be open. I have had to move at least 3 prescriptions because they left and had to close it down. Completely unprofessional. You’re better off go your RX filled at another location. Holden Beach has always helped me when they fail over and over to do their job. Shallotte Walgreens- zero stars!

Best decision I ever made! I transferred all my meds from Carolina Shores CVS. The staff here are great, meds are filled on time, and when you call they answer the phone!

Always ask if I found everything ok when I'm checking out, always ask if I'm a Walgreens member

I purchased some items yesterday the lady at the front register had the POS machine pointing sideways she saw me entering my pin the POS machine should be pointing towards the customer Walgreens you should know better than that.

Pharmacy tech had the biggest attitude and even lied to me about then I could get my medication filled. I had to make another almost hr trip to pick up my meds just bc he didn't want to do his job

Worst pharmacy care ever! Pharmacist refused to fill my prescription because it was too close to closing time. Urgent care sent me there with 12 minutes to closing. I was obviously very, very sick and I begged her to fill it but she did not care about my well being. I thought all healthcare givers take an oath to provide the best care to patients but she was determined to get off work on time plus the pharmacy was closed the next day due to 4th of July. She didn't care if I was going to go 2 days without medicine as long as she got to clock out on time. I'll never go to a Walgreens again! I don't have her name but she was the only female pharmacist on 7/3/24 at 7:54pm. I hope you can identify her.

Had to drop off a return for FedEx. I had just had a horrible experience with the worker at office Depot who was trying to make me drive 30mins away to another store because she claims she couldn't do the return. Jennifer at Walgreens was extremely nice and super helpful! Amazing customer service!
