“There we were- a touring band from Nashville making our way through the great Carolina mountains on our way to Charlotte, NC to play the first show of tour. Tragedy struck in Shelby, NC - or rather our trailer tire struck a pole, as we pulled away from the gas station. The tire pulled out and jutted to the left. The trailer was rendered barely drivable. The axel was bent and our tour was seemingly screwed before it began…. That is, until Eric and Dustin with Leonard Buildings & Truck Accessories stepped in. We hobbled our trailer up the street to the closest place with a shop and fate led us to the most honest, smart and creative bunch of good humans this side of the Mississippi. These guys used ingenuity, elbow grease, some big tools and kindness to bend our axel back into place. They fixed it in about 3 hours and had us back on our tour. Both bands Crumbsnatchers AND Nordista Freeze have these 10/10 humans to thank for saving our butts. If you need a trailer, a cool shed, a barn, trailer accessories…. ANYTHING- give these boys your business. They deserve the world.”

“Today was a real scare for me...my key fob (both of them at the same time!) would not work, and I was locked out of my car - I think it must have been over 100 degrees! I walked across the street to be met by 2 young gentlemen at O'Reilly's who tried to help - but then suggested that we get a 3rd person involved. A young man, named Cross, DROVE me to my car, and then proceeded to help me with my problem. He was so kind, and dropped what he was doing to help me immediately! And he knew just what to do!!!!

“I called several places for a used ac compressor for my Saturn Vue with no luck. The last place I called suggested Norman's of Shelby, and they told me they had the part. I went this afternoon after work and I'll have to say I have never been treated better by any kind of business. The woman at the desk was kind and understanding and even asked the mechanic to bring the part out to my truck and to help me walk back to the truck if needed. She came out from around the desk to get my credit card and again to return it with the receipt. Those small acts of kindness mean the world to me and that's besides well organized shop and efficiency in getting the part without delay.

“My husband and I are traveling from South Carolina, heading to Gatlinburg TN, when we noticed that our KIA Telluride had somehow lost its navigation system on our screen.
An employee by the name of Joshua Ledford came out to greet us and he helped us figure out what we were doing wrong.
Joshua was very polite and helpful.
