Thieves. Every other birthday or Christmas card someone sends to us with money in it gets “lost” or arrives torn into with contents gone. Desk workers act ignorant and won’t let you talk to postmaster and then they just claim their machine tears the envelopes open. Yeah, it tore it open, took out the card unharmed, the check slipped out, and put the card back in perfectly. No one answers the phone. So sick of this post office not running or stealing our mail!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Service at USPS Shelby, NC
I had a truly great experience at the USPS office in Shelby, NC. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly attitude from the staff. The line moved quickly, and the clerks were professional, knowledgeable.
The post office was clean, well-organized, and stocked with all the supplies I needed. It's clear the team here takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about the customers.
Thank you to the USPS Shelby team for making errands like this easy and pleasant.

My mailman Wayne is absolutely wonderful. He cares about his job and it shows. I never have any issue with my mail or packages.

Very rude. My daughter was in there this week, had a package to send that needed one piece of tape and the clerk refused to give her one. The UPS Store would never be so unaccommodating. This is why I never go to the Shelby Post Office.

There is one woman in particular that is always so miserable to work with. She is rude and has a horrible attitude. I dread going into this post office. They really need to hire some more helpful and pleasant people. I expect that kind of attitude from people in Charlotte, but definitely not Shelby. I'll drive out of the way to go to a nicer post office from now on.

Ridiculous how the white guy is sooo rude. I love the people at ups! No wonder the post office is going down. Some employees think they are not replaceable! I dred him waiting on me. The nastiest person working in Shelby's post office. I will drive to Falston post office.

Frequently have packages scanned as delivered or not verified to the correct post office box to be met with rude employees is frustrating.

The place itself doesn't sick, but the delivery drivers suck. I order stuff that can go IN the mailbox, but I always have problems saying that the address was "unreachable" or that there was a problem putting it into the CLEARLY marked mailbox. I wish 0 stars was an option

A lot of people like to rag on the USPS, but the gentleman who helped myself, and several other customers, in the post office was polite, professional and quickly processed everyone through. You shouldn't complain about bad service without acknowledging when it is excellent.
